You are on page 1of 3

I want to welcome all of you for coming to todays

event.
My presentation will be about my experiences with the
ATPL integrated course.
*the process: The groundschool will take you approx. 89 months. In this period you will cover all 14 subject.
Each day 9-1700. You will study each subject for approx.
2-3 weeks and at the end of each subject you have a
test. Somewhere in the middle of the training you will
have 3 or 4 weeks to do your Caa. After all of this you
will start your vfr flight here in kaunas. But first you
need to pass the Flight operation manual test.
*classes: It is very important to attend the classes. The
more you listen, write and learn in the classroom the
less you have to study your own for the final exams. You
will definetly have some questions about the material.
So to not get behind the group, ask if you have a
question. If something is still not clear you can ask
other students OR ask the internet. The internet is full
of information and examples, videos, and other
experiences from student pilots. I suggest you to make
notes during the lessons, as it is proven that you
remember more when you write stuff down
*exams: For all 14 subject you will have a test in school,
just after you finished the classes. It is important to
prepare well enough and pass with a minimum of 75%.
The best way to prepare is to study with bgs online. The
amount of questions does vary per subject. Some
subject have more than 1000 questions. While others
just contain 300. It is really important to keep your
focus during the training because the more you know

during the classes, the easier it is to study for the exam

or caa. Also you can only take the exam if you pass all
the progress tests of the lesson.
*Caa: The Caa period is always fun, you have 6 sessions
in total. In these sessions you need to pass all the 14
exams with a score of more than 75%. To be successful
you need to make a plan how and how long you will
study for each subject. That is why I say it is important
to attend the classes and always be focused. So during
the CAA sessions you will spend less time studying and
the material will be much easier for you.
*Flying: We all want to fly, thats why we want to
become pilots. But Before the fun we need to work
hard. For you guys, approx. next year you will start
flying here at aleksotas. The aerodrome code is EYKS.
The memory that you will never forget is the first solo,
after approx. 10 hours of flight training you will go for
your check ride. After this you can handle the plane all
by your self. Well, except if the weather is too bad. Even
tho it will be summer, it can happen that the weather
will too bad to fly. But this is anticipated so you will
have enough time to finish all your flight hours. I have
noticed that student have the tendency to stress about
the flying part, so I want to let you know that there is no
need to worry. Study hard and work hard and after a
while you will see that you dont have to worry at all.
* the Instrument flying will be done on the Cessna, prior
to this you will have Simulator sessions at baa. Before
you can start with your FNPT you need to have passed
all 14 subject in caa. Me myself have not done this yes,
so sadly I dont have any tips for you

* The multi engine hours are done on the Tecnam

P2006T, I have heard from some students that the
workload on this plane is much higher than what we are
used to on the tecnam p2002. So it will be fun to fly this
bird.
* School days: how does a typical schoolday looks like,
well for the biggest part you will have lessons from
09:00 till 17:00 everyday. This is quiet though in the
beginning, but later on you will get used to it. You have
to wear your uniform to school, and always be well
rested to gain new important information. It is also
important to be punctual and to not skip lessons, you
will disadvantage only yourself and make it harder for
no reason.
* How to prepare for the school exams and the caa
exams. In total there are more that 14.000 questions in
the question bank. I suggest you to use BGS online to
study for your school exams, and when you start CAA
its better to study with aviation exam. This will cost
you around 150 euros for a one year subscription. The
price can drop as you can use the account on three
different devices. It is important to keep repeating your
weak points to improve your skills and have a higher
final score.
