1. Generate a range of feasible designs and evaluate each design against the
specifications
2. Evaluate the suitability of the materials for the bag

1. Create a prototype of the bag and made modifications to the design if necessary

Week 5

2. Creation- Measure and cut out the bag according to the specified dimension.
Draw up a step-by step plan for the construction of the bag.

Cut out the fabrics according to the specified dimensions


Sew the pocket.
Attach the pocket to the back piece.
Prepare the panel for the zip.

Week 7

Attach the zip to the panel.


Pin the panels (top and bottom) to the front piece.
Stitch up the panels (top and bottom) to the front piece.
Pin the back piece to the panels (top and bottom).
Stitch up the panels to the back piece (CAUTION: Do not sew the top panel, leave 2 holes
at the bottom for inserting the straps).
Seam the placeholders with rings and straps to the flap (One piece of flap only).
Sew the magnetic fasteners on the same piece of flap in side 2.
Join the flaps.
Attach the flaps to the back piece.

Insert the straps into the two holes and seal.


Sew the magnetic fastener onto the front piece.
Hammer the studs onto the cover-up piece.
Seam the cover-up piece to the bag.
Iron the iron-on decorations onto the flap.
Complete the evaluation process and submit the bag
Do the final process and product reflection
