Algebra 2 in the Workplace Lab

Goal of the class:

- The goal of this class is to help you be successful in Algebra
2 in the Workplace.
- We will go over many of the same concepts, but this course
gives you an opportunity to get more individual attention
and to work on concepts that you are struggling with. I will
also present the concepts in different ways in order to appeal
to different types of learners.
- I will usually introduce concepts that you may have trouble
with in the Workplace course and give you additional time to
practice and ask questions.
Grading:
- The grade that you receive in this course will be no more
than one letter grade different from the grade that you
receive in Algebra 2 in the Workplace and will be primarily
based on your effort in the class. The harder you work, the
better your grade will be in Algebra 2 in the Workplace and
the better your grade will be in this lab.
- There will be no tests or quizzes other than those given for
practice.
- There will be minimal homework assignments with the
emphasis being on classwork.
- Grades from assignments done for this course will be
inputted in Skyward as a reflection of your effort in the
course and will be used to determine your grade.
The bottom line is that this course is a tool to help you be
successful in Algebra 2 in the Workplace. I know that with some
work, you can succeed in math!
