Minuets of Management meeting held on 19/5/2015 in the chamber of Superintending

Engineer, Field Studies Circle, Thrissur of the work Construction of building for District
Data Processing Centre and Lab Level II at Ernakulam.

The meeting started at 11 AM and was chaired by Smt. Rosey Mathew , Superintending
Engineer, Field Studies Circle, Thrissur. The meeting was convene to review the progress and
plans for the remaining work of the construction of building for District Data Processing Centre
and Lab level II at Ernakulam.
Sri. Suresh.P.N , Fins Engineers & Contractors (P) Ltd, the contractor Sri.D.Biju,
Executive Engineer, Hydrology Division, Chengannur, Sri. Binoy Tomy George, Asst. Exe.
Engineer, Hydrology Sub Divsion, Kottayam and Smt. Jeena Thomas, Asst. Engineer, Hydrology
Section, Aluva attended the meeting.
The progresses of all activities were reviewed by the Superintending Engineer. The
contractor has informed that 80 % of Civil Work was completed and the road work could be
started after laying UG cable. Approval from Electrical Inspectorate is waiting to start this work.
He further informed that work in all respects would be completed by the end of the Month June
2015.
For completing the work in time following decisions were taken in the meeting.
Civil Works
1.

Plumbing
Fixing of sanitary items like Wash Basin, Urinal, European water closet, Tap, Towel
rails etc should be completed by 20th June 2015.
The make and model of plumbing fixtures should be selected by the direction of
Engineer in Charge.
2. Interiors
Partition walls should be made with ivory colored powder coated Aluminium
extrusions.
False ceiling with PVC should be provided in contrast color with almost white
shades.
Either Hindalco powder coated aluminium channels with light colour shades or color
anodized aluminium sections (in brown colour ) are to be used for hand rails.
The handrails of stairs should be fixed in base slab of stair in alternate treads in every
flight.

3. Exterior works

 Irish drainage of 4 inch width must to be provided covering entire length of

compound wall in backyard. Drainage works at site should be completed by 20th June
2015.
Earth work filling at site should be completed by 10th June 2015.
Road work, gate, paving Interlocking tiles, cement tiles etc. should be completed by
25th June 2015.
Road work must be limited to road formation only, if no extra fund has been allotted
by the Ground Water department to meet the excess amount raised due to the change
in site conditions from the approved plan.
Paving tiles can be provided with grey and black color and it should be completed by
25th June 2015.
As requested by the Executive Engineer, Asst. Executive Engineer the screed concrete
with 1:2:4 may be provided for the roof of main building for leveling the slopping
portion as per the direction of Engineer in charge.
Sliding gate in the backyard should be fixed as per the lopping profile of ground.
The make and color of tiles are to be selected by the direction of Engineer in Charge.
Electrical and Fire Fighting.

Lift erection (manufactured by Kone sholuld be completed before 20th June 2015.
Transformer (USS) and Generator (DG SET) should be installed at site by 20th June
2015.
Split A/C fitting at site should be completed before 20th June 2015.
Switches, sockets, fans, lights etc, should be completed by 20th the June 2015.
Fire fighting works-fire Pump (3 Nos) and panel erection along with testing,
commissioning etc. should be completed by 20th June 2015.
