Electrical Engineer
The field of engineering field that will be researched in this research paper is Electrical
engineer. I will be discussing the daily routines, places of work, different employers, what
education is needed, and the ranges of salaries that an Electrical engineer would get. There are
many different things to prepare for before you become an Electrical engineer. Electrical
engineering also has a career ladder just like any other job and I will be discussing that as well.
This field of work has a variety of different ways of preparing new engineers as they progress
into the world of Electrical engineering.
If someone were to decide to make a career out of Electrical engineering they would need
to need to prepare for the type of on the job duties you will have to complete along with where
you are going to work. The environment you will work in varies on what company and where on
the career ladder you are but for the most part you can expect to work in an office or laboratory
doing research. In a company that manufactures complex devices an Electrical engineer would
evaluate and develop the production of the devices or equipment that his or her company makes.
In general electric engineers typically work in an office type of setting but there are occasions
that they might have to travel to operating sites or a construction or infrastructure sites and be
more hands on. Where you are located and what you do it up to your employer so it varies.
Electrical engineering is not a very upcoming job at the moment but that doesnt mean
there is not work to be found in this career path. This career path has plenty of opportunities to
find work. There might not be very many at the moment and the projected amount wasnt
supposed to grow very much at all but as technology grows its all hard to tell what the future
might bring. To become an Electrical engineer you at the bare minimum need a bachelors degree

of coverage just in case something does happen. Theres always some type of benefits that will
cover you.
Potential employers are everywhere for electrical engineers. There are potential jobs in
government and private companies that make any type of electrical product. Electrical engineer
are not in high demand by many companies at the time being so there are not too many places to
go. In government there are many potential opportunitys that an electrical engineer can have.
They can work on satellites like I stated before or help program different types of things for new
upcoming tech.
An early start is the best thing you can do for any career. High school is a great place to
start to prepare for what you want to do. For an electrical engineer you can prepare in
high school by taking engineering classes. In most high schools there are not too many
options for specific engineering classes so any expose will do you good. Computer
classes are also good to take. To be more specific, some computer classes that would be
good to take in high school are classes that expose you too any type of programming or
designing. Those classes would help prepare you for future engineering classes. In high
school if you want to go above and beyond during summer you can take beginner classes
in college to have an even earlier start than most. Electrical engineers have a lot of
preparing to do if they want to make it, and be good at their job. It is not an easy task to
become an electrical engineer but if you find this field of work interesting you should go
for it and do you best.
