Dear Parents,
I am excited about teaching, getting to know your child, and
becoming a part of your childs success story in science. As a very
recent Middle Grades Education graduate of East Carolina
University in Greenville, where I concentrated in Mathematics and
General Science, it is still fresh in my mind the challenge of
transition and change. I hope to help make this transition to middle
school as seamless as possible for your child.
It is my goal to foster an atmosphere that is secure, inviting,
nurturing and educationally challenging, while having a fun
science experience.
I expect all my students to have a successful year. You can assist in helping me achieve
my expectations by periodically checking to see if your childs work outside of the
classroom is being completed.
I have an open door policy, if you ever have any questions, no matter how big or small or
any concerns about anything, please feel free to contact me by e-mail or phone. E-mail is
my preferred method of contact.
