ThisSpecificationdefinestheminimumrequirementsforelectricmotordrivenRotaryPumps
(GearandScrew)tobeinstalledonOffshorePlatform.Thepumpscoveredunderthis
specificationmaybeusedasCrudeCondensateTransferPump,DieselTransferPump,LubeOil
Pump,SealOilPumporanyothersimilaruseinaccordancewithspecificrequirement.Additional
specificationsforallpumpsrequiredshallbedevelopedbyContractorforCompanysreviewas
partofDetailedEngg.Phase.
ContractorResponsibilities
TheContractorshallberesponsibleforthecompletedesign,manufacture,supply,inspection,
testing,preparationforshipmentforthePumpdrives,includingfullcompliancewithallapplicable
designcodesandstandards,includingthoselistedinSection2ofthisSpecification.
ProvenEquipment

Thesuppliershallhaveproducedtwo(2)pumpsetsofcomparabletype,ratinganddesignfromthe
proposedmanufacturingplant.Thesuppliershallprovideevidenceofsatisfactoryoperationofat
least8,000hrs.foronesuchunitwhenoperatinginsimilarserviceconditionsinoffshoreareas.

Inspectionandtestingascalledforinthisspecification.
Alltheabovecomponentsshallbefullyassembled,pipedwithinletandoutletpipingterminatedat
theskidedgewithappropriatelyratedflanges,wiretestedandpaintedformarineenvironment.
Thesuppliershallsupplytheequipmentspecifiedforthepackageandauxiliarysystemsandall
otherrequirementsinaccordancewiththisspecification.Anyequipmentthatisnecessarytomake
acomplete,operable,safeanddependablepackagebutnotspecificallyidentifiedhereinshallalso
beintheSuppliersscopeofsupply.
TheSuppliershallberesponsibleforthecompletedesign,engineering,coordination,testing,
deliveryandproperfunctioningoftheequipment,notwithstandinganyomissionsfromthis
specification.

recommendedsparesfortwo(2)yearsnormaloperationandmaintenance.Listsshallincludepart
number,partdescription,serialnumberandnormaldeliveryleadtime.TheSuppliershallensure
listedpartsareavailableforshipmentatthetimeofequipmentshipment.
AllsparepartsfurnishedbytheSuppliershallbewrappedandpackagedsothattheywillbe
preservedinoriginalasnewconditionundernormalconditionsofstorage.Sparepartsshallbe

properlytaggedandcodedsothatlateridentificationtointendedequipmentusedwillbe
facilitated.Theyshallbepackagedseparately,clearlymarkedasSparePartsandshippedatthe
sametimeastheequipment.Packagelistsshallbefurnishedsothatthepartscanbehandled

Two(2)setsofanyspecialtoolsorfixturesthoserequiredforpacking,installationand

Allitemsshallbeproperlypackedandprotectedagainstdamageduringshipment.Eachcrate,bag
orpackageshallbeclearlyidentifiedwiththepurchaseordernumberandidentificationsymbol,
