Dear Alicia, would you have time for a brief conversation later today?
I would like to confirm with you the direction I wish to give our
clients, Jeff Goldberger and Andy Cohen of Atlas Capital.
Madelyn Wils updated me on Sunday on the progress of the appraisal
being undertaken for HRPT by the firm, Appraisers & Planners.
A draft is anticipated in mid December.
Jeff and Andy believe that the appraisal already conducted by Jerry
Haims for ESD (during the GPP phase of discussions) should suffice.
Madelyn has made it clear that the NYS Comptroller is requiring
HRPT to conduct an independent appraisal.
I assume you will concur with Madelyn and want to advise Jeff and
Andy to cooperate with this new appraisal (in terms of providing
material information on
the development program in all its complexity to the Appraisers &
Planners).
Your assistant advised me you should be in the office after 3:30 pm
today. May I call you then for a brief conversation?
