Red Tornadoes
Welcome to tonights game. We
appreciate you being here to support our
student-athletes and the fine coaches that
lead them.
Our athletes and coaches have put in a
tremendous amount of time and effort to
be able to compete tonight at a very high
level through many hours of training.
We look to continue a very proud tradition
of academic and athletic excellence at
Hickory High School this year.
We are very excited and honored to
recognize two former teams that reached
excellence. We will welcome the 1966
undefeated team led by the late coach
Frank Barger for their 50th reunion on
Sept. 9, and we also celebrate the 1996
3-A State Champion and 16-0 team
led by coach David Elder for their 20th
reunion on Oct. 14.
We also would like to thank all the
parents, administration, school board,
faculty, community supporters, and our
outstanding Booster Club for all their time
and effort to make sure our athletes have
a great experience.
We could not have a successful team
without everyones outstanding support.
We are very grateful. We hope to see you
at every game this year.
