PROBLEM STATEMENT
Based on the given question,
1. We need to design the dream house (Single Storey Bungalow) by using AutoCAD
software
2. We also need to provide floor plan with annotation/symbol, front elevation, rear
elevation, side elevation and roof plan.

3. We need to fulfil the criteria of the project that is roof pitch is 30, roof plan Must
have Fall signage, high wall 3500mm, Thickness of wall is 150mm, at least 5 layer
with different colour and properties to differentiate each line and dimension must
have in all Drawing and must related to each Drawing.

To study and practise how to use AutoCAD software.

To know what function every single line.
To know how the way to read and using Plan based on Architect drawing.
To know and to study basic construction Engineering.

SUMMARY OF THE PROJECT

In this project we can know how to use AutoCAD properly based on practising in the class
related to Civil Engineering studies. We can know the function of Grid line and the most

important thing is to design the house we need Floor plan first. After that we can relate to all
drawing plan by construction line and we can provide Front View, Side view, Rear view and
roof plan. To get all this plan is we need to rotate our plan to get this particular drawing.
Based on this project also we can get exact value of dimensioning to get accurate value for
construction of the house. In Malaysia normally the thickness of the wall is 150mm and also
roof pitch is 30. Grid line in drawing the plan is most important thing that is the function of
this line is for dimensioning and to divide the roof plan to become room and particular space
for crate nice house. From this project also we can be more expert using AutoCAD software
and learn a lot of Command available in this software for example MV, MA(match) CTS etc.
This project give a lot of benefit to student and they can illustrate the construction process by
expert in using this software. They also can know the basic of construction drawing and got
more preparation to become actual engineer.
