The InterAmerican Telecommunication Commission (CITEL) is an entity of the Organization of American States

II.ABOUTTHESCHOLARSHIP
1.BENEFITS:
Onefullscholarshipandonepartialscholarshipwillbegranted:
o A complete scholarship of the registration fee to the course for one participant, for a value of US$1,700.00 (1,500.00
Euros), covering also the accommodation and flights expenses for a maximum amount of US$2,800.00 (2,500.00 Euros)
andthecostsforlunchesanddinnersi.eamaximumtotalvalueofUS$4,500.00(4,000.00Euros).
NB:Byacceptingthefullscholarship,theparticipantortheparticipantscompanyororganizationcommitthemselvesto
takechargeofanyotherextraamountabovetheUS$2,800(2,500Euros)foreseenfortheexpenses.
o A partial scholarship covering the registration fees to the course for one participant, for a value of US$1,700.00
(1,500.00Euros).(Costsforlunchesanddinnersfullycovered).
NB: By accepting the partial scholarship, the participant or the participants company or organization commit
themselvestobeartheexpensesfortravelandaccommodation.

3.SCHOLARSHIPAPPLICATIONRESTRICTIONS:
IfyouwereawardedanOASProfessionalDevelopmentScholarshipinthepasttwelve(12)monthsorifyoucurrentlyhold
an OAS Scholarship for Academic Studies, you are NOT eligible to apply for another Professional Development
Scholarship.
Also, Staff members of the General Secretariat, persons under performance contracts with the General Secretariat, staff
membersofthepermanentmissionstotheOAS,andtheirrelativesarenoteligibleforOASacademicscholarships.

Anextensiveandequitablegeographicdistributionforthebenefitofallmemberstatesthattakesintoaccountthe
greaterneedsofthesmallerandrelativelylessdevelopedeconomies.
6.RESPONSIBILITIESOFSCHOLARSHIPSRECIPIENTS:AllScholarshipRecipientsmust:
ConfirmtheiracceptanceofthescholarshipawardbysigningandreturningtoOASDHDEEtheircompletedform:
AcceptanceoftheScholarshipAward.
InformtheOASDepartmentofHumanDevelopment,Educationandemploymentatleastoneweekbeforethe
programstartdateintheeventhe/sheisunabletobegintheprogramofstudysothatthescholarshipmaybe
offeredtothenextrankedcandidate.
Ifafteracceptingthescholarship,thescholarshiprecipientforwhateverreasoncannotattendthecourse,heorshe
mustimmediatelynotifytheDepartmentofHumanDevelopment,Education,andEmploymentoftheOAS.
Ineverycase,allfutureparticipantstoCullenInternationalsscholarships(whethertheybenefitfromthefullor
partialscholarships)areexpectedtosubscribetotravelinsurance.Thecostsrelatedtothisinsuranceshallbe
borneeitherbytheparticipantsorganizationortheparticipant.
