MANAVTA project was inaugurated by Dr.

Ajit Kumar,
Honorable Vice Chancellor, NIFTEM on the occasion of
WORLD LABOUR DAY, May 1 2012

MANAVTA is to empower underprivileged children,

youth and women through relevant education and
cultural programmes for sustained development of
the society.

Why we started MANAVTA?

Many laborers and their families were residing within
the campus and outside the campus.
They were not having access to basic education
facilities.
In order to provide them educational opportunities
MANAVTA was started.

Objectives
To give platform for poor children for basic education.
Stop the child from doing child labour .
With education provide them free books , clothes , bags, food and
whatever necessary for their health .
Enrol those students in schools who are doing well and have chances
of doing better in their study.

MANAVTA promotes and catalyses
universal education among
unprivileged children
Creates the process to embrace these
children into mainstream in a
sustained manner
Facilitates them to emerge as
productive assets and set the manavta
for nation building

Current Scenario
The project is being run by a group of
NIFTEM student.
Under eminent guidance of Dr. Komal
Chauhan.
Children's are present both in campus and
outside the campus.
So classes are going on inside and outside the
campus.

How do we work?
We have divided team manavta into 6 divisions:
TEACHING (28 members)
ADMINISTRATION (3 members)
CULTURAL (5 members)
MEDIA AND IT (3 members)
REASEARCH AND REFORM WING (3 members)
TREASURY AND FUND RAISING ( 4 members)

Strategies Used
Rigorous Survey of the local area to
identify the most underprivileged ones.
Divided ourselves into different groups for
efficient working
Provided books notebooks slates and
stationary material to attract children
towards study.
Arranged motivating lectures to appeal
both parents and wards.
Arranged cultural activities to teach
proper moral values in life.

Results and Achievements

We introduced about 100 Childs to the world of books.
We have created a healthy atmosphere among parents towards the
importance of education.
They are able to think of their future.
90% students are now admitted to nearby govt. and private schools.
