Architect/ Sales Manager. So, we prepare questionnaire and asked from Mr.Imran Qamer.He
is Architect/ Sales Manager in Banu Mukhtar concrete (Pvt) Ltd. After conduct the interview
we are able to know the duties, responsibilities of an Architect/ Manager Sales and as well as we

1. What is the job's overall purpose?
The jobs overall purpose is to attain the organization mission by providing quality
product and service to the customer. According to Mr.Imran Qamer.

a. Client hunting:
List out the customers and provide them information about the projects and tell them to
which product will be benefited for them and arrange meeting with clients and if the
customer is willing to attain our services then next activity starts.
b. Negotiation + Booking:
Quotation provide, sampling of goods, specification of product and if done the booking
and interdepartmental process starts. In interdepartmental process we shape out the
project and then computerized the record and make the documents .Copied the
documents and of which one copy sent to the customer and 2nd copy sent to the
manufacturing department to make sure the material is available or not and last copy
retained in to the custody of head office of Banu Mukhtar to accomplish the legal
obligations.
c. Execution:
Delivery of product to the customer as per the agreement and if the customer is willing to
attain the constructing service then we refer to the constructing department.

Manpower planning is being done by relevant H.O.D.s. As Banu Mukhtar is primarily a
construction concern, so forecasting is mainly performed based on the size of the projects
at hand.

scatter plotter etc)
Ratio Analysis is used as a main tool. However, as every project is different from the
other, the subjective opinion of the Project Managers and Head Project Controls also play
a key role in determining the Manpower needs of the organization.

No software is being used for manpower forecasting.
Q4. Does it fill positions from within or fill from outside the organization.
Both sources are being used with external resources being the main source of hiring.

labor needs are being fulfilled locally.

At offices, it is mainly done on the request of the employee with the consent of H.O.D. At
projects / sites it depends mainly on needs. Employees are transferred from one project to
another on regular basis.

No outside source is being used at the moment. External hiring is mainly done on the
basis of employee references and through advertisements in social media and print media.

Temp staffing is done only at our construction sites. The option of alternative staffing is
not being exercised at the moment.
