Researchers, developers, and practitioners from academia and industry are invited to present their research
findings on various topics of IT and its applications. Three types of submissions are solicited: regular papers,
short papers and poster papers. Regular and short papers will be published in IEEE Xplore (pending
approval) and indexed in the Scopus Database.
Conference Tracks:
ICADW encourages submissions in all the areas of information and Communication technology. However, the
papers in the following seven tracks will be the primary focus of the conference. The submissions in each
track could be on any of the topics listed, but are not limited to followings:

ICT enabled services: ICT in Business Administration, Finance and Economy; ICT in Governance
and Government Policy Making; ICT in Education, Humanities, Social Sciences and Research; ICT
in Medicine and Health Care

Bio informatics and its usability: Novel applications in Bioinformatics; Data Mining and
Statistical Modeling of biological data; Visualization of Biological Processes and Data Management;
Migration and Integration of Biological Databases; Biological Database search; Indexing and
access.
3.
Linguistic issues in multilingual setup: Corpora and Language Resources; Speech Recognition;
Tagging, Classification and Parsing of Text and Speech; Speech and Spoken Language Generation;
Semantic Processing of Text and Speech; Integrating Applications of Text and Speech Processing;
Automatic Dialogue Systems.
4.
ICT infrastructure in adverse scenario: Managing Big Data and Linked Open Data; Data
Analytics and Business Intelligence; Knowledge Models, Languages, and Representations;
Ontologies: Engineering, Alignment, and Evolution; Machine Learning and Reasoning Methods;
Service-Orientation and Large-scale Distributed Computing Cloud Computing; Model Driven
Architectures / Software Development; Infrastructures, Tools and Framework Conditions for
Cooperation and Knowledge Transfer; Advances in and Tools for Technology Enhanced Learning;
ICT Competence Design and Development; Infrastructures and Framework Conditions for ICT
Education.
5.
Signal processing and its applications: Array Signal Processing; Biomedical Systems;
Compressive Sensing; DSP Algorithms and Architectures; Detection and Estimation; Image/Video
Processing; Language Identification; Machine Learning; Pattern Recognition; Speech and Audio
Processing.
6.
Internet of Anything: Smart utility grids; Smart mass transportation; Smart buildings, factories &
homes; Smart medical technologies; Next-generation air traffic control; Robots and drones;
Advanced retail and commerce; Advanced vehicles; IoA and cloud computing; IoA and mobile
computing; IoA and big data analytics; IoA technological trends; IoA impact of policies, standards,
and regulations; Impact of IoA on IT industry and IT professionals; IoA education and training; IoA
case studies.
7.
Information security and privacy: Authentication, Access control and Authorization;
Accountability and Anonymity; Cloud and Distributed systems security; Computer and Cyber
Forensics; Hardware and Embedded systems security; Internet of Things Security and Privacy;
Intrusion detection and Malware analysis; Network and Systems security; Privacy technologies
and mechanisms; Security and privacy metrics and policies; Social Networks Analysis and
Security; Usable security and privacy.
Authors must submit their papers using the conference website on or before the submission deadline. All
papers will be reviewed for technical content and scope by a technical program committee. All accepted and
presented papers would be digitally archived through IEEE Xplore. The page limits are SIX pages for the long
paper track and THREE pages for the short paper track. Papers should be in PDF format, two columns, font
size 10 or greater and compliant with other IEEE manuscript guidelines. Submitted papers must be
unpublished and not currently under review for any other publication. Authors of accepted papers must sign
an IEEE copyright release form and also present their paper at the conference for the paper to be included in
IEEE Xplore. A small number of papers may be accepted for poster presentation instead of oral presentation.
One best paper in each track will be awarded.
Tutorial: Proposals are invited for tutorials on topics in recent development in accessibility to the Digital
World. Each tutorial will be of duration 3 hours. A tutorial proposal should include the abstract of the tutorial
and a brief biography of the speaker(s). Interested speakers are encouraged to send a proposal to
tutorial@icadw.org.
PhD Forum: ICADW 2016 also provides a platform to students and research scholars working in all areas of
ICT to present their on-going research works and interact with the fellow research scholars. Interested
students and research scholars are encouraged to submit the report on their on-going research works to
phdforum@icadw.org.
Workshop: Considering ICADW being a brand new Conference, satellite workshop proposals in line with the
conference theme on a specific topic are invited. Interested parties are requested to submit their proposal to
workshop@icadw.org.
Exhibition: Companies and R&D laboratories are encouraged to exhibit their products and recent
developments at the conference. Additionally, a half day of Industry presentations is planned. Interested
parties are requested to submit their proposal to exhibition@icadw.org.
