Fall 2015
Worked as the Events and Marketing Assistant for the non-profit
organization KidsAbility. I was responsible for a variety of different tasks
including third party event coordination, internal event planning, donor
relations and cultivations, and marketing support. This co-op helped me to
refine my event planning and campaign development skills to improve my
proficiency of Public Relations.
Achievements include: Development of a Holiday Card Campaign where I
developed and managed a fundraising/ donor appreciation campaign from
beginning to end.

Farms.com Co-op
Summer 2014
Worked as a Web Content Creator for the company Farms.com. I was
responsible for a variety of different tasks including content creation,
external link development, search engine optimization, and meta data
creation. This co-op helped me to refine my technological and
communication skills as well as hone my overall knowledge and
effectiveness in the field of Public Relations.
Achievements include: Having relevant content published onto Farms.com
and being chosen to represent the company at a Farm Show.
Boston Pizza SportsWorld Co-op
Summer 2013
Worked as a Community Relations Coordinator, as well as Social Media
Champion for Boston Pizza SportsWorld. I was responsible for event
planning, promotions, community involvement, social media management,
media development, and many other tasks. This co-op term helped to
broaden my knowledge of Public Relations and hone my communication
skills.







Achievements include: Increasing social media following by 95% and
developed a partnership between Boston Pizza and the CJFL Predators
Football team which helped to increase revenue for both parties.
Expedition Plus
2010-2011
Emmanuel Bible College, Kitchener, ON
Completed Expedition Plus; this entailed four months of applicable course
work in areas including Leadership, Communication, and Psychology. This
also included working four months abroad with numerous homeless shelters
in Kitchener, Montreal, Philadelphia, and the Philippines.
Habitat for Humanity Home Build

May 2008
Volunteered as a general labourer and provided onsite assistance for one
week to build homes and help those who are suffering with poverty. Worked
in close quarters with locals as well as specialized professionals to perform
the best possible job as well as be productive as possible.
Activities and Interests
When I am not volunteering my time or studying public relations, youll
probably find me strumming my guitar, reading a good book or training for
an extreme fitness event such as the Tough Mudder.
