1:45 pm: Review of 2010 Learning Agenda and Work Plan
1. Five themes
a. HIV & Micro/Health Insurance: Explore the role of micro/health insurance in improving
equitable access to health care in the context of HIV.
b. Improve access to HIV & AIDS Related Products: Create opportunities for equitable access to
HIV & AIDS products.
c. HIV & Financial Services: Explore the spectrum of approaches used to help lift HIV-affected
households out of poverty ranging from cash transfers to savings-led and credit-led
approaches.
d. HIV & Food Security: Explore ways in which economic strengthening activities can be used to
mitigate the impact of HIV and improve food security in the context of HIV.
e. Economic Strengthening of vulnerable populations affected by HIV

Financial Services working group with MFI Reporting Standards Initiative Agenda:

Objective: Review FSWG activities, educate attendees on current activities with the public reporting period of
the MFI Reporting Standards Initiative and plan activities to increase ‘uptake’ of the standards after final
adoption.
