1 Service Description
AGI is a private consultancy firm, registered with the German government as experts in quality
management of higher education and human resources management. It consults Iraqi students,
scientists and experienced professionals to obtain study, research, training and job opportunities in
Germany.
The service module Letter of Acceptance from a PhD supervisor in Germany is offered to Iraqis with a
Master degree of at least 75% and good English or German skills, who wish to conduct his PhD research
in Germany.
The service of AGI includes the following steps:
a) Identification of suitable universities and professors in Germany which cover the
clients desired area of specialization.
b) Composition of the clients application profile (optimization of the clients CV and
other application documents according to German customs and standards).
c) Presentation of the clients profile to the identified professors.
d) Communication with the suitable professors regarding assessment of the
client.
e) Guidance of the client regarding communication with the professor during the
application phase (Skype interviews, etc.).

The AGI service is successfully completed when the client receives an official letter of invitation by a
suitable professor.
2 Timing of placement and period contract duration
Desired starting date of the client signing this contract:

AGI starts to work on the new clients placement as soon as the fee and all documents are provided and
strives to fulfill the contract until completion, usually within a maximum of six months.
3 Costs and AGI fees
Professors at German universities do not charge for the acceptance of a PhD student. There are no
university tuitions for PhD students. Some semester fees of about 500,-/semester - varying
between universities may apply.
The AGI fees to guide a client to identify a suitable professor and obtain a letter of acceptance for PhD
supervision consist of

1000,- Euro non-returnable processing fee

500,- Euro success bonus upon receipt of the letter of acceptance by the client.

1500,- Euro have to be paid in full and in advance.

Transfer the full amount by Western Union Money Transfer to:
Dr. Katja Claudia Petereit , in Germany.
There is no bank account needed. For the closest Western Union Office for you check the homepage
www.westernunion.de.
Insert your name exactly as stated in your passport (First names, then last name). Please send us a
scanned copy of the transfer form.

4 Termination of the contract

This service contract remains active until the service is completed by AGI. It can be terminated by AGI if
the client does not cooperate appropriately in the matching and placement process (missing or false
documents, no response for more than one month regarding questions, refusal of suitable professors,
etc.) without refund. The client can terminate the contract and request the refund of the success bonus

after six months, if AGI did not complete the service. Transfer costs of the bonus refund are borne by
AGI.
As there is no realistic legal procedure to settle a dispute between a client in Iraq and AGI in Germany,
both signing parties agree to consider this contract as a document of honorable commitment and
pledge to fulfill their herein described responsibilities in best manner.
