Introduction

This report provides extensive research and objective


analysis on the consumer buying behavior on android based
phones special reference to Samsung and Micromax. Today
there is increased use of mobile phones by most of the
people, increased use may be because of easy exchange of
information & convenient communication. This study has the
purpose to find out the preference criteria of consumers for
particular mobile handset. Result of the study will show the
difference between the android based phones of samsung
and micromax.

Objectives of the study


The objectives of the study are:
To find out the most preferred features of the android
based mobile phones of samsung and micromax.
To find out the opinion of consumers regarding best
mobile operating system.
To find out the expenditure range of consumers for
android based phones.
To find out the best android based phones
according to the consumer's buying behaviour.

Research Methodology
Research methodology is the process used to collect
information and data for the purpose of making business
decisions. The methodology may include pulication research,
interviews, surveys and other research techniques.

Type of Research:

The research design of the project is decriptive as it


describe data and characteristics associated with the
population using android based phones of Samsung &
Micromax.

Limitations in Research

The survey is limited to Lucknow region only, so it


cannot be generalized to all the cities.

The sample size is limited to 50 customers only.

Time is one of the major constraints.

At most care taken by the researchers to choose the


correct information from the respondents.
