National, 15th June, 2012: Pantaloons, one of the largest fashion retailers in India
today, joined PAYBACK as its key partner in the fashion retail category. Now
Pantaloons Green card will become PAYBACK Green card, rewarding the Pantaloons
customers with PAYBACK points as well as discounts.
Customers will now earn 4 PAYBACK points on every Rs.100 spent and PAYBACK
members will also get to enjoy exclusive privileges at each of the Pantaloons stores.
As part of a special launch offer, customers can get 10% points back on redemption.
Further more customers, who redeem 8000 or more points, are rewarded with a
20% point back.
PAYBACK is Indias first multi-partner loyalty program that presents many
advantages over the traditional, stand-alone customer loyalty schemes restricted to
one brand or company only. The power of PAYBACK stems from pooling loyalty
benefits from many attractive partners and such a program packages customer
benefits into a single customer loyalty program. Future Group and PAYBACK India

GREEN CARD
Pantaloons, a part of Future Group, and Jet Airways' JetPrivilege frequent flyer programme have entered
into a partnership starting 2 September 2009 for co-branded loyalty programmes.
The partnership will enable members of JetPrivilege and Green Card programmes to "double dip" or
enjoy benefits of two programmes, Jet Privilege and Pantaloons Green Card.
Green Card members who are also members of the JetPrivilege programme will be able to earn JPMiles
and enjoy attractive discounts for shopping at Pantaloons.
This partnership recognises the elite tier status of JetPrivilege members and gives them direct entry into
the corresponding tiers of the Pantaloons Green Card programme without any preconditions that are
usually set to qualify for a Pantaloons Green Card.

Online travel booking site Cleartrip has launched a rewards program called Cleartrip
Rewards where it is offering free Activities worth Rs 500 each on the first 3 eligible
bookings. Eligible bookings include domestic and international flights and hotels with
minimum combined flight and hotel value of Rs 10,000 and upwards. The next 3 and
further 6 bookings will get a free hotel and flight booking worth Rs 3,500 and Rs 5,000
respectively.
For the program, the company says that the bookings must be completed by 31
October 2017 to get free coupon codes, which will be valid for 60 days once received.
Free coupon codes can only be used for bookings made on the Cleartrip app. Users will
also not be able to avail the pay at hotel option if booked through the offer.

Cleartrip late to the game: Way back in 2011, MakeMyTrip had launched its rewards
program in partnership with Payback (previously known as i-mint). In September this
year, it revamped the loyalty program and re-launched it as My Rewards to offer
various benefits like a free hotel room-night voucher of Rs 3,500 on 4 completed
bookings, along with Payback points.
Yatra had a program in 2007; GoIbibo wallet: Yatra, was way more ambitions, when
it launched its rewards program in 2007, but were not sure if Yatra Miles is still live as a
loyalty program, since it seemed to have an expiry date of 2009. In January last year,
online travel site GoIbibo launched a closed wallet called goCash as a solution for
easily making online travel bookings after a previous booking had failed, for receiving
rewards or redeeming points.
Previous Cleartrip developments:
Last month, Yatra, MakeMyTrip and GoIbibo started delisting online budget hotel
room aggregators Oyo Rooms and Zo Rooms from the platform, where Cleartrip said
that it would continue to list them. More on this here.
In August this year, Cleartrip launched Cleartrip Activities, a mobile marketplace-like
model where it listed curated collection of over 2,000 activities and things to do in 30
cities including metros and tourist destinations, through which users could browse and
book.
3. What do you mean by zero cancellation fee & zero amendment fee?
Normally, when you cancel / amend your bookings on Cleartrip, there would be 2 kinds of
cancellation / amendment fees one levied by the airline which varies from airline to airline
and another by Cleartrip. As a Cleartrip Elite member, we will waive off the Cleartrip charges
completely on your cancellation / amendment. But don't forget to log in using the email id
used for enrollment to get this benefit.

6. What are the important points to be noted for the express redemption
benefit?

If you do not complete 5 bookings by 31 December, 2015, you will not get to avail the
express redemption benefit.
Cancelled booking will not be considered. Eg. If you make 4 bookings and cancel 1
booking, your booking count will be treated as 3.
Only flight or hotel bookings will be considered for this program. Bus or train
bookings are excluded.
When you finish 5 bookings, you can avail the express redemption benefit. Once you
