Subject: Thematic series of EMS modules

Dear and respected Saints,

Namaskar at your holy feet may kindly be accepted,
Dhan Nirankar Ji.

Keeping in view the hesitation and reluctance in some of our saints to speak in English,
four 90-minute EMS modules as following have been got prepared.

Module 1: The status of Satguru;

Module 2: Prime messages of our Satguru;
Module 3: Loving is living;
Module 4: Sanctum Sanctorum Sadh Sangat;

These modules are flexible in that, anything relevant could be added or the readymade
sentences could be revised/deleted. The size of the presidential discourse (vichar) could
also be adequately revised/increased/decreased according to the situation.

As the users practice the modulated materials like those one in your hands, they will gain
more and more confidence, internalize Satguru’s grace and also naturalize their
performance in the EMS in a time-managed and professional manner.

Professional communication skills, useful in career-building are of course a very

prominent by-product of the theory and practice of these modules.

With loving respects to all EMS members around your good self,

Yours humbly,

H.S. Nirman

The True Master manifests himself in this world for the entire humanity;
The True Master manifests himself in this world only for the benefaction of others;
The True Master manifests himself in this world for the emancipation of the world;
The True Master manifests himself in this world for preaching the concept of One-God;
None is as benevolent as the True Master and there is no comparison to his wisdom;

Efforts have cornered you in a penalty. Look…
Hatred is now a great diluge
Noah’s arc is wide and huge
Let everybody come in His refuge. Look…

Cautious be cautious, all challengers

He is the captain, you are passangers
Also preachers and messengers. Look…

Paradise on earth is planned

For this wall in-between us, this life is very small
Tuhi-tu, Tuhi-tu, Tuhi Nirankar, Tuhi-tu, Tuhi-tu, Tuhi Nirankar

Where is now, where is now, where is the Berlin wall

One Germany, go to Berlin, there is no Berlin wall
Look into your heart, look into my heart,
There might be somewhere hiding, a mighty Berlin wall
Break the wall…

Here is it, here is it; here is the Berlin wall,

Between people everywhere, there is a Berlin wall
Look into your heart, look into my heart,
There might be somewhere hiding, a mighty Berlin wall
Break the wall…

Who will break, who will break, the social Berlin wall,
Why is everybody making a mental Berlin wall
Look into your heart, look into my heart,
There might be somewhere hiding, a mighty Berlin wall
Break the wall…

exercises very benevolently in an unassuming and selfless manner. Satguru can make

You save me from the evil ways, and make my miseries flee.

The word is diagnosis, the word is prescription,

The word is medicine, in word is health, in word is life,
In word is guarantee.
When I pray…

Condemnation of anybody, the ears would unlisten.

The faults of even the fault-finder the eyes refuse to see.
When I pray…

I shut my eyes, I touch you, I hug you, entirely merge in you.

You love me so much, I never knew, to this-very high degree
When I pray…

Gentle and sweet words are spoken, by the tongue you give.
From the pains of prejudice, you have made me free.
When I pray…

In the beginning was the Word and the Word was God Himself.
In my times, I listen to Word of you Babaji.

have said. In my view, Satguru is infallible. He does not commit any mistake or do
anything wrong. He never indicates or mentions these incredible traits of his personality

Satguru. The earlier saints have said many things that could bring lots of relief to
everybody. In my view, every word spoken by Satguru becomes a spiritual law which if

Item 25:
Presidential discourse: “Saints, Dhan Nirankar, saints, all of us have listened to the
cosmic and divine statements, recorded by Baba Avtar Singh Ji in the holy Avtar Bani.
We have also listened to very inspiring and enlightening thoughts from the very learned
speakers and singers. All of them have very well elaborated various aspects of our
Satguru’s status. I am not competent to justify this very crucial, sensitive and spiritual
subject. However, all the previous participants, especially the shabd from the holy Avtar
Bani do encourage me to describe just a few of infinite faculties, possessed by our
Satguru.

Saints, it was rightly said that the Satguru has been sovereign from the very beginning.
Here, the meaning of sovereignty is that he is not subordinate to anybody. His
Government of Truth with spiritually legislative, executive and judicial components aims
at creating a living paradise on earth. For this he forms an organization to assist him in
reaching out to everybody on this earth. Thus, this arrangement becomes his mission.
Both his organization and mission remain under his control. If this control is stable,
everything starts taking a perfect form but if it is diluted, decadence starts immediately.
Satguru’s sovereignty has its genesis right in the beginning of the Creation when God
Himself brought “his own image” into being in the form of the first human being. He
declared this first human being as “the Crown of the Creation”. Thus, the first Satguru
started exercising God’s sovereignty by way of transferring God-knowledge to his
children and guiding the destiny of humanity through his word.

Saints, it was also elaborated that the Satguru remains head of humanity. For him, the
designation of King of Kings is spiritually correct but he does not assert himself and
remains blissfully observant towards political rulers. However, he would always like all
the rulers to exercise their powers for the total happiness and welfare of everybody on our
earth. Satguru’s status does not interfere with any worldly ruler; Satguru always ensures
his own good citizenship and honors the law of the land.

Saints, all of you know that the Satguru has unlimited divine rights which he exercises
very benevolently in an unassuming and selfless manner.

Saints, it was very beautifully said today that the Satguru is infallible. He does not
commit any mistake or do anything wrong. He never indicates or mentions these
incredible traits of his personality but every moment of his life is spontaneously lived
with divine standards.

Saints, it was very well stated by one of the speakers today that every word spoken by
Satguru becomes a spiritual law which if obeyed brings real happiness in this and the
other world. Disobedience, if not forgiven by Satguru, leads to untold unhappiness here
and after.

Saints, the Satguru has the prerogative to forgive even the worst sins. However, we
should always try not to commit any sin.

Saints, the Satguru is an embodiment of unlimited urbanity, nicety, tolerance, love,

compassion and mercy.

Saints, the Satguru’s institution is a permanent feature of human life on earth. He may
disappear for sometime from somewhere but he is actually present somewhere else
always.

Saints, Satguru is always one. Many good / wise / super-intelligent / benevolent /

brilliant / self-sacrificing/ great/ patriotic personalities may serve the humanity in a very
meaningful manner. Yet, nobody can become Satguru, because a Satguru can create a
Satguru only;

Saints, the Satguru never unfolds his full status to anyone because this aspect is too
unbelievable. Therefore he shares a few parts of his infinite personality, but those too
come to the observation of a few chosen persons only. Even these few chosen persons
tend to intermittently forget this first-hand observation.

Saints, the Satguru never sleeps whereas even the best followers tend to sleep. They
remain satisfied with a little bit of grace or honor whereas the Satguru likes to transfer his
full and infinite grace to everybody.

Saints, despite the fact that Satguru has total monopoly over cosmic secrets; he would
open only a very small part of this divine treasure to even the best seekers because to be a
real seeker, it again is a matter of Satguru’s grace. He decentralizes, diversifies and
democratizes his divine powers. Now, it depends upon the followers to perform their
duties and use these powers in the desired manner.
Saints, the Satguru is imperturbable to an infinite level. He is happy when we love his
children, that is, the humanity. He is happy when we are happy. He is unhappy when we
are unhappy, but he is cosmically immune and transcendental at the same time.
This is despite the fact that he is unhappy when his followers are unhappy.

Saints, the more we utilize his word, the more we enrich our life with a capacity to
transfer this enrichment to others also.

Saints, we cannot ever oblige the Satguru. We cannot add any virtue or goodness in his
divine treasures. We are ourselves beggars.

Saints, the Satguru always overlaps with God. The more we obey him, the more we know
him. The more we know him, the more we celebrate the fact of enjoying our original
spirituality, got realized through his word. We ourselves start overlapping with God. It is,
however, in proportion to the level of our conscious obedience to him.

Saints, you must have observed many times that the Satguru can make himself very meek
and unassuming. Sometimes he has an enormous following and at other times he could be
alone also.

Saints, you must have also noted that the Satguru talks with extreme cautiousness,
sweetness and authenticity.

Saints, the Satguru is sometimes tolerant of disobedience and destruction around him but
he starts reconstruction with his unlimited mercy and forgiveness. After all, the Satguru
divinely owns all natural resources and cosmic properties.

Saints, with these words I once again offer my unqualified apologies for having said
anything not commensurate with the standards of the Sadh Sangat. However, when we
sing the Dhuni together, the vacuum of deficiencies left by me will be filled. Saints, say
with love, Dhan Nirankar Ji.”

Item 3:
(Speaker’s name): “Saints, Dhan Nirankar. Saints, I seek to share the sum-total of my studies
on the prime messages of our Satguru. Since the inception of mankind on our earth, the
Satguru, in benevolent exercise of his cosmic sovereignty has been guiding the destiny of
the humanity through his Word. The happiness of all human beings has always been in
proportion to the level of obedience to him. Nations and communities made or marred
their destiny by compliance or defiance. Thanks to the modern communication, traveling
and globalization trends, it is very much possible to save the entire humanity from further
destruction and all mental, social, national and international disturbances. This could be
done by making available the facilities of Satguru’s grace, Brahm Gyan that is, God-
realization and Sadh Sangat that is, saints-congregation to each and every human-being
on our globe.
Saints, in today’s congregation, we have a galaxy of singers and speakers. They will
elaborate this theme in their own experienced style. With these words, I beg from you to

_______________________________________________________________________
_
Item 7:
(Speaker’s name): “Saints, Dhan Nirankar Ji. I have thoroughly studied the prime messages
of our Satguru. Permanent perception of God is the prime objective of human life.
Without the fulfillment of this aim, the human life would go waste despite any other
high-profile achievements in any walk of life. For the completion of this sole purpose of
human life, any person could approach the Satguru or any of his apostles. This
attainment, if maintained and developed in the Sadh Sangat, will lead to spiritual
happiness before and after death. It will also bring, in its wake, socio-economic
prosperity as well as Satguru’s continuing grace, which is full of unlimited treasures of
wisdom for a better life. Saints, bless me that I always respectfully fear my Satguru
because it is said, “Fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge.” Here, my fear
relates to intentional and unintentional defiance of Satguru’s word. I know that
compliance will lead to lakh khushiyan patshaiyan and defiance to unlimited
unhappiness. Saints, say with love, Dhan Nirankar Ji.”

Item 11:
(Speaker’s name): “Saints, Dhan Nirankar Ji. We have listened to the earlier speaker who has
been quite meaningful. The entire humanity is one interdependent family but this is to be
realized in practical form. Unity of God-knowledge in the diversity of cultures,
geographical divisions, political demarcations, socio-economic ideologies, dietary habits
and philosophical/ religious beliefs is available with our Satguru. There is no question of
any religious conversion. Rather, a rediscovery of one’s own religion in the light of God-
realization is needed. Amicable co-existence between various beliefs is possible.
Appreciating the goodness in others’ beliefs is imperative. No place for hatred and
condemnation of others on any grounds is to be allowed. Saints, bless me that I always
practice what the Satguru says because his package of happiness is very big. He is
making us a member of the family of humanity. Why should I remain confined to a
narrow-minded small place of my own? Saints, say with love, Dhan Nirankar Ji.”

Item 15:
(Speaker’s name): “Saints, Dhan Nirankar Ji. Earlier speakers have highlighted a few aspects
of the prime messages of our Satguru. In my view, love, compassion and mercy for
everybody irrespective of anything is to be practiced. This includes taking care of fellow-
beings with one’s available resources. Love means liking somebody, caring for him,
helping him, and making him happy and prosperous; doing all this without any worldly/
selfish motive. Compassion is extension of love to a state where one’s mind melts into
taking care of others even at the cost of one’s own comforts. Mercy is when you totally
ignore the faults and vices of others and still help them. Tolerance and forgiveness
leading to peaceful and productive co-operation for socio-economic development and
prosperity of individuals and communities are to be imbibed. What a wonderful gift from
our Satguru to everybody! I must utilize and share this gift with others. Saints, say with
love, Dhan Nirankar Ji.

When I pray to live in your word, you yourself live in me.

When I pray… Saints, Dhan Nirankar”

Item 25:
Presidential discourse: “Saints, Dhan Nirankar. Saints, all of us have listened to the
cosmic and divine statements, recorded by Baba Avtar Singh Ji in the Holy Avtar Bani.
We have also listened to highly inspiring and enlightening thoughts from the very learned
speakers and singers. All of them have very well elaborated various aspects of prime
messages of our Satguru. I am not competent to justify this very crucial, sensitive and
spiritual subject. However, all the previous participants, especially the shabd from the
holy Avtar Bani do encourage me to restate just a few of infinite treasures encoded in the
prime messages of our Satguru.

Since the inception of mankind on our earth, the Satguru, in benevolent exercise
of his cosmic sovereignty has been guiding the destiny of the humanity through his word.
The happiness of all human beings has been in proportion to the level of obedience to
him. Nations and communities made or marred their destiny by compliance or defiance.
Thanks to the modern communication, traveling and globalization trends, it is very much
possible to save the entire humanity from further destruction and all mental, social,
national and international disturbances. This could be done by making available the
spiritual solutions which our Satguru offers to his children, diffused over the planet Earth.
Saints, without obtaining the permanent perception of God, the human life would
go waste despite any other high-profile achievements in any walk of life. For the
completion of this sole purpose of human life, any person could approach the Satguru or
any of his apostles. This attainment, if maintained and developed in the Sadh Sangat, will
lead to spiritual happiness before and after death. It will also bring, in its wake, socio-
economic prosperity as well as Satguru’s continuing grace, which is full of unlimited
treasures of wisdom for a better life. Saints, let us always respectfully fear our Satguru
because it is said, “Fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge.” Here, our fear
relates to intentional or unintentional defiance of Satguru’s word. We know, compliance
will lead to lakh khushiyan patshaiyan and defiance to unlimited unhappiness.

Unity of God-knowledge in the diversity of cultures, geographical divisions,

political demarcations, socio-economic ideologies, dietary habits and philosophical and
religious beliefs is available with our Satguru. There is no question of any religious
conversion. Rather, a rediscovery of one’s own religion in the light of God-realization is
needed. Amicable co-existence between various beliefs is possible. Appreciating the
goodness in others’ beliefs is imperative. No place for hatred and condemnation of others
on any grounds is to be allowed. Saints, bless me that I always practice what the Satguru
says because his package of happiness is very big. He is making us a member of the
family of humanity. Why should we remain confined to a narrow and small place of our
own?

Today, we heard that love, compassion and mercy for everybody irrespective of
anything are to be practiced. This includes taking care of fellow-beings with one’s
available resources. Love means liking somebody, caring for him, helping him, and
making him happy and prosperous; doing all this without any worldly or selfish motive.
Compassion is extension of love to a state where one’s mind melts into taking care of
others even at the cost of one’s own comforts. Mercy is when you totally ignore the faults
or vices of others and still help them. Traits of tolerance and forgiveness leading to
productive co-operation for socio-economic development and prosperity of individuals
and communities are to be developed. What a wonderful gift to everybody! We must
utilize and share this gift with others.

Saints, we very well know that our Satguru through his practical life demonstrates
that sweet, gentle and affectionate language in all walks of life is to be sincerely used.
Sweetness of language of course, includes truthfulness, sincerity, honesty and
responsibility. Service of humanity is to be practiced as a part of one’s gratitude towards
God. Sadh Sangat is to be attended regularly. The realized presence of all-pervading God
is to be continually remembered from moment to moment. The worth of every breath of
human life is to be realized by working hard for obtaining freedom from prejudice,
hatred, enmity, jealousy and negativity in any form. Saints, surely, our Satguru’s package
of gifts is infinite. Why should we ever deprive ourselves of what has been gifted to us?
We should rather always celebrate this fact in the sweet company of saints like you.
Satguru’s prime messages are full of unique deliciousness, pleasant flavors, divine
wisdom, scientific truths, cosmic and eternal happiness, supreme respectability,

Saints, with these words, I once again offer my unqualified apologies for having
said anything not commensurate with the standards of the Sadh Sangat. However, when

Item 1:
The following shabd from the Sampuran Avtar Bani (English) may be recited by any
saint:

Ikk Tuhi Nirankar (Shabd No 9B)

The same divine spirit permeates all, whether man or woman;

A Brahman , Kshatriya , Vaish or a Harijan,
All the people belong to One-God.

All have the same physical structure carved by the same Almighty-God.
Then, why should there be wrangles of caste and creed, where is the need to appease the
people?
Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, all belong to one God;

You should love them all as human beings, whether they are good or bad.
When the same God dwells in all, then who is bad , who is good?
Just as the filth that immerses in the Ganga becomes the Ganga itself.
Treat all human beings alike and shed your vanity;
Avtar says, the second pledge is not to believe in caste and social divisions.

Item 3:
(Speaker’s name): “Saints, Dhan Nirankar. Saints, you must have heard our Satguru
emphasizing: “If you cease to love : You cease to live.” These words of
Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj touch our soul. Do we
exist as a dead body only when we do not love others? Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj
said, “Jin prem kio, tin hi Prabh payo.” Does it mean that those who were blessed with
Brahm Gyan but did not live the life of love had not got knowledge of God?
While defining his Mission, Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj said: “Nirankari Mission is
knowledge of this all-pervading Nirankar and love, compassion and mercy for everybody
on this earth.” He has further elaborated this definition in his famous book ‘Darpan’,
“Those Nirankaris who discriminate against others just because they have not obtained
Brahm Gyan or they do not belong to our Mission, are not Nirankaris. It is most desirable
that we should embrace everybody irrespective of any outer consideration. We should
share the grief and pain of others. If we do so only then we are “Nirankaris.”
Saints, in today’s congregation, we have a galaxy of singers and speakers. They will

Item 7:
“Saints, Dhan Nirankar Ji. Saints today I seek to share with you some
(Speaker’s name):
thoughts on the alchemy of love. Alchemy means a form of chemistry and speculative
philosophy practiced in the Middle Ages and the Renaissance and concerned principally
with discovering methods for transmuting baser metals into gold and with finding a
universal solvent and an elixir of life.

Alchemy also means any magical power or process of transmuting a common substance,
usually of little value, into a substance of great value.

In Ancient India also, Paras chemistry had been in vogue for centuries together.
An entry into our Satguru, Baba Hardev Singh Ji’s world will, however, give us a real
alchemic power. We will migrate from worldliness to divinity. From human-beings, we
will transform into spiritual beings. However, this journey from negativism to positivism
is a slow but steady process.

Our Satguru blesses us with the power to extend love, compassion and mercy to
everybody irrespective of anything.

Love means liking somebody, caring for him, helping him, and making him happy and
prosperous; doing all this without any worldly motive. Compassion is elevation of love to
a state where one’s mind melts into taking care of others even at the cost of one’s own
comforts. Mercy is when you totally ignore the faults and vices of others and still
enthusiastically help them with love.

The alchemic process includes prayerful practice of tolerance and forgiveness and
forgetting these good deeds immediately so that these do not create any sense of
authorship.

Sweet, gentle and affectionate language is to be demonstrated in all walks of life and is to
be sincerely used for one’s own and others’ happiness.

The realized presence of all-pervading God is to be continually remembered along with

every breath.

The worth of every breath of human life is to be cashed by working hard for obtaining
freedom from prejudice, condemnation, hatred, enmity, jealousy and negativism of all
forms.

Those who are yet to acquire the magical power of our Satguru’s alchemy are required to
listen to him very attentively.
Saints, I should always pray to my Satguru to equip my mind with the alchemic powers
of love. Saints, say with love, Dhan Nirankar Ji.”

Truth is high; there is no doubt;
Higher still is truthful living.

Knowing the truth is knowing the destination;

Knowing the destination leads to salvation;
Living the truth is reaching the destination
Reaching the destination leads to salvation;

You are a human-being; not a European.

You are a human being; not an Asian.
Neither an African; nor an American;
You are a human-being; cosmopolitan.

Love is the religion; hatred profanity;

Item 11:
(Speaker’s name): “Saints, Dhan Nirankar Ji. We have listened to the earlier speaker who has
been quite meaningful. Saints, I seek to quote an article published in Hindustan Times. It
says is that love is the bedrock of spirituality .The simplest interpretation of love is that
it’s an emotion, a feeling, a highly favorable disposition towards a person, a living being,
a thing, or an idea. But it is much more than that. It is a powerful positive force.

Love is to spirituality what gravity is to physics. Gravity lends weight and stability to the
physical bodies, love does the same to our spiritual being. Gravity is not dependent on
anything outside. But though it arises from the body itself, it exists and has a meaning
only in relation to other bodies. The same is true of love. Last but not the least, both
negate non-duality and work towards unity.

Love is not only an encompassing virtue but also complements karma and gyan . The
latter two attain their highest form only when seeped in love. Action not guided by love
can lead to anything – even disastrous consequences. Similarly, knowledge without love
affords only a two-dimensional picture of everything.

Those who frown on love are either ignorant or victims of this two-dimensional learning.

Saints, we can count five great events in our life.
Saints, the first great thing is that we have been gifted with the human body. It is the

Saints, the second great thing happens when we come to know our contemporary
Satguru.
Saints, the third great thing takes place when we are chosen by the Satguru and Brahm
gyan is imparted to us with his grace.
Saints, the fourth great thing is gifted to us when we listen to his word repeatedly and our
behavior enables us to graduate from worldliness to spirituality; and
Saints, the fifth great thing is received by us when we have direct darshan of our Satguru.
Saints, let us celebrate the reality of being with the Satguru. As, it is not possible to
express this happiness in an ordinary manner, our feelings are taking the form a song.
Saints, now we will sing the song, ‘Lord Hardev is here’. I request all saints to join.

The prophet of love and freedom,
A handsome who does handsome,

With him live life happily.
He has a cosmic sovereignty,
His religion is humanity,
Embodiment of urbanity,

Item 15:
(Speaker’s name): “Saints, Dhan Nirankar Ji. Earlier speakers have highlighted a few aspects
of the theme “Loving is living”. Let us all pray together to study, imbibe and practice
Satguru’s definition of love
I am reminded of a modern Pakistani poet’s thoughts in this respect. He says :
Aashiq nachde kande di nok utte, tupka jithe trel da thehrda nahi
Unhe behr-e-haqeeqat ki paar karna, taaru jehda mijaaz di nehar da nahi
Translated into English, this would mean that the lovers dance on the tip of the thorn,
where the dew-drop cannot stand: How will one go across the ocean of Love of God, if
one is not a swimmer of the canal of the worldly love. The oriental Sufi saints have very
vividly described the correlation between worldly love that is mijaaz and love of God that
is haqeeqat. However, the mijaaz is just a canal and haqeeqat is an ocean.
We very well know that the canal has always a small width. Our social behavior
including the give- and-take in the family is the canal. How do husband and wife respect
each other? How do parents and children interact? How do we behave with our
neighbors? And what is our performance in the society and at the workplace? This is
exactly the canal of worldly love. Saints, I always pray and beg from you to bless me that
I should be knowing how to swim across the canal of mijaaz. Then only I will be having
the means to swim across the ocean of haqeeqat. Saints, say with love , Dhan Nirankar.

Item 19:
(Speaker’s name): “Saints, Dhan Nirankar Ji. Saints, our Satguru says : Better to engrave
names on hearts than on marble stones. Can we actually do this? Is it impossible, difficult
or easy? As a matter of fact, when we sincerely and selflessly care for somebody, we
surely leave a permanent impression on his mind. “Love” the universal language, is
definitely at the roots of our mission and surely the aim of each saint.
Love is something which can even change a life of a cruel person. Love always
reciprocates. If we love someone, definitely we will be loved also, since it is such an easy
equation then why waste time in understanding as to how can we achieve what our
Satguru says? Let’s show this world the power of love, the power of giving, the power or
mercy, forgiveness, compassion and truth.

Let’s drench ourselves in His rememberance, in eternal love as well as the human love.
“Ranjha ranjha kardi ni main aape ranjha hoyi, saddo ni mainu Dhido Ranjha Heer na
aakho koi”….(While repeating the name of Ranjha, I became Ranjha myself: call me by
the name of Dhido Ranjha, let not anybody call me as Heer). To be a shadow of Satguru,
try to love like Him. He has no biased thoughts regarding caste, religion, faith etc. He
gives; he loves unconditionally, readily forgives all our faults and mistakes and doesn’t
ever make us feel ashamed.

Why not talk love more vocally.
Think globally…

Different is the grammar of songs and prose;

Break all barriers and come close.
The folk-songs are sung very colloquially.
Think globally…

Common is the pleasure and common is the pain;

Common is the loss and common is the gain.
Why do you think anything parochially?

Item 23:

“Saints, Dhan Nirankar Ji. Saints, today, love is being discussed.

(Speaker’s name):
Therefore, I seek to differentiate between our Satguru’s loving morality and the negative
worldly morality. Satguru’s morality is a very strong positive force but when the worldly
people talk of morality, they are unduly critical, faultfinding and sadistic. On one side,
they boast of good moral character. Yet, at the same time, they commit the most inhuman
and heinous crime of demoralizing the deserving people and draw a sinister pleasure
from the pains of others. Among five vices identified in Gurmat, condemnation that is
Ninda is considered to be the worst sin and it is totally banned in Gurmat. Our Satguru
frequently quotes Goswami Tulsidas Ji: Parhit saras dharma nahi bhai, Par pira sam
nahi adhimai .(O brother, nothing is a higher religion than taking care of others’
interests, Nothing is more irreligious than giving pains to others). The worldly people
irrelevantly over-emphasize certain rules and regulations with the aim of inflicting
injuries to others’ feelings.

On the other side, those who feel offended or injured and allow themselves to fall into
pessimism or demoralization are equally responsible for their own destiny. Why don’t
they look towards the Satguru and maintain their faith in his divine gifts of tolerance,
patience and forgiveness? They, as real devotees are expected to continue following their
noble pursuits without allowing themselves to be disheartened even a little bit. Every
saint derives all the spiritual powers from the word of the Satguru and not from any other
power or person on earth. One should always depend upon only and only the Satguru’s
word. The people who take things to heart are also egoist. They are required to celebrate
the fact of having met their contemporary Satguru and obtaining the rarest privilege of
knowing his word.
Saints, say with love, Dhan Nirankar Ji.”

(Shabd recital/reading from Holy Avtar Bani by ___________ Ji. No announcement):

Ikk Tuhi Nirankar (Shabd No 9B)

Ikko noor hai sabh de andar, nar hai chahe nari ey;
Brahman, Khatri, Vaish , Harijan; ikk di khalqat sari ey.
Deh sabhnan di ikko jehi , ikko Rab sanwari ey;
Zat-pat de jhagde kahde, kahdi lokachari ey.
Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Isai, ikk Rab de bande ne;
Bande samjh ke piar hai karna, change bhaven mande ne.
Je sabhnan vich ikko Rab ey ,kaun bura te kaun ey changa ;
Jiven gandgi mil Ganga vich ho jandi ey ap vi Ganga.
Sabh noon ikko jiha jaan ke, man di akad bhannani toon;
Kahe Avtar ih dooja pran ey, varan-zat nahin mannani toon.

The same divine spirit permeates all, whether man or woman;

A Brahman , Kshatriya , Vaish or a Harijan,
All the people belong to One-God.
All have the same physical structure carved by the same Almighty-God.
Then, why should there be wrangles of caste and creed, where is the need to appease the
people?
Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, all belong to one God;

You should love them all as human beings, whether they are good or bad.
When the same God dwells in all, then who is bad , who is good?
Just as the filth that immerses in the Ganga becomes the Ganga itself.
Treat all human beings alike and shed your vanity;
Avtar says, the second pledge is not to believe in caste and social divisions.

Item 27:
Presidential discourse: “Saints, Dhan Nirankar. Saints, all of us have listened to the
cosmic and divine statements, recorded by Baba Avtar Singh Ji in the Holy Avtar Bani.
We have also listened to highly inspiring and enlightening thoughts from the very learned
speakers and singers. All of them have very well elaborated various aspects of the theme
“Loving is living”. I am not competent to justify this very crucial, sensitive and spiritual
subject. However, all the previous participants, especially the shabd from the holy Avtar
Bani do encourage me to recount just a few of infinite treasures encoded in the theme
“Loving is living”.

“If you cease to love : You cease to live.” These words of Baba Hardev
Singh Ji Maharaj touch our soul. Do we actually exist as a dead body when we do not
love others? Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj said, “Jin prem kio, tin hi Prabh payo.” Does
it mean those who were blessed with Brahm Gyan but did not live the life of love had not
got knowledge of God. While defining his Mission, Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj said,
“Nirankari Mission is knowledge of this all-pervading Nirankar and love, compassion
and mercy for everybody on this earth.” He has further elaborated this definition in his
famous book ‘Darpan’, “Those (Nirankaris) who discriminate against others just because
they have not obtained Brahm Gyan or they do not belong to our Mission, are not
Nirankaris. It is most desirable that we should embrace everybody irrespective of any
outer consideration. We should share the grief and pain of others. If we do so, only then
we are Nirankaris.”

Saints, coming to the behavioral change which follows Brahm Gyan, I seek to share with
you some thoughts on the Alchemy of love. Alchemy means a form of chemistry and
speculative philosophy practiced in the middle Ages and the Renaissance and concerned
principally with discovering methods for transmuting baser metals into gold and with
finding a universal solvent and an elixir of life.

Alchemy also means any magical power or process of transmuting a common substance,
usually of little value, into a substance of great value.

In Ancient India also, Paras chemistry had been in vogue for centuries together.

It was correctly said by one the speakers that an entry into our Satguru, Baba Hardev
Singh Ji’s world will, however, give us a real alchemic power. We will migrate from
worldliness to divinity. From human-beings, we will transform into spiritual beings.
However, this journey from negativism to positivism is a slow but steady process.

The alchemic process includes prayerful practice of tolerance and forgiveness and
forgetting ones such good deeds immediately so that these do not create any sense of
Saints, I should always pray to my Satguru to equip my mind with the alchemic powers
of love. Saints, say with love.
Saints, one of the speakers said that love is the bedrock of spirituality .The simplest
interpretation of love is that it’s an emotion, a feeling, a highly favorable disposition
towards a person, a living being, a thing, or an idea. But it is much more than that. It is a
powerful positive force.

Love is not only an encompassing virtue but also complements karma and gyan. Action
not guided by love can lead to anything – even disastrous consequences. Similarly,
knowledge without love affords only a two-dimensional picture of everything.

Those who frown on love are either ignorant or victims of this two-dimensional learning.
Saints, a modern Pakistani poet’s thoughts in this respect were also quoted today.
Aashiq nachde kande di nok utte, tupka jithe trel da thehrda nahi
Unhe behr-e-haqeeqat ki paar karna, taaru jehda mijaaz di nehar da nahi
Exactly, how will one go across the ocean of Love of God, if one is not a swimmer of the
canal of the worldly love. I would like to compare the canal of mijaaz with the ocean of
haqeeqat
We very well know that the canal has always a small width. Our social behavior
including the give- and-take in the family is the canal. How do husband and wife respect
each other? How do parents and children interact? How do we behave with our
neighbors? And what is our performance in the society and at the workplace? This is
exactly the canal of worldly love. Saints, I always pray and beg from you to bless me that
I should be knowing how to swim across the canal of mijaaz. Then only I will be having
the means to swim across the ocean of haqeeqat.

Saints, a speaker quote our Satguru as having said that better to engrave names on hearts
than on marble stones. Can we actually do this? I say yes. When we sincerely and
selflessly care for somebody, we surely leave a permanent impression on his mind.

Saints, it is correct that morality is only a positive force. When people talk of morality,
they are unduly critical, faultfinding and sadistic. On one side, they boast of good moral
character. Yet, at the same time, they commit the most inhuman and heinous crime of
demoralizing the deserving people and draw a sinister pleasure from the pains of others.
Among five vices identified in Gurmat, condemnation that is Ninda is treated to be the
worst sin. Our Satguru frequently quotes Goswami Tulsidas Ji: Parhit saras dharma nahi
bhai, Par pira sam nahi adhimai .O brother, nothing is a higher religion than taking care
of others’ interests, Nothing is more irreligious than giving pains to other.

It was rightly said that the real devotees are expected to continue following their noble
pursuits without allowing themselves to be disheartened even a little bit. Every saint
derives all the spiritual powers from the word of the Satguru and not from any other
power or person on earth. One should always depend upon only and only the Satguru’s
word. The people who take things to heart are also egoist. They are required to celebrate
the fact of having met their contemporary Satguru and obtaining the rarest privilege of
knowing his word.

Saints , our Satguru’s word is an ocean of divine and eternal wisdom encompassing every
aspect of cosmos including human life. It is full of incredible truths. Not to speak of
laymen, even the most learned scholars and scientists could disbelieve Satguru’s word in
view of presence of incredibly unlimited treasures of super-scientific knowledge latent in
it. The most practical approach is to incorporate our Satguru’s word in our normal
activities and regularly monitor its impact on our mental and social life. This experience
could be exchanged with all those who have also transformed their day-to-day life into a
laboratory for experimenting Satguru’s word and utilizing the results for own and others’
benefit.

Saints, with these words, I once again offer my unqualified apologies for having
said anything not commensurate with the standards of the Sadh Sangat. However, when
we sing the Dhuni together, the vacuum of deficiencies left by me will be filled. Saints,
say with love, Dhan Nirankar Ji.”

Sadh Sangat literally means being in our Satguru’s company. It is the institutionalized

present here obtains a unique experience of mental tranquility and ecstasy. It is in the
sadh sangat that we begin to change from human-beings to spiritual beings. It is here that
Brahm Gian brings about changes in the recipient’s behavior.

Saints, in today’s congregation, we have a galaxy of singers and speakers. They will

The sense is full of pain
Kind, be kind to your own self, and
Don’t think things in vain

Now that you know/that the transitory show,

Of the five* is to end anytime,
Now that you see,/ from the death you are free,
And the life is a life sublime.
Find, please find, the feet of the saints who
Blessed you and broke your chain.
Kind, be kind…

The author of the whole,

The world and the soul,
Is the One now you se all-around.
Why vie with the maker/life-giver and the taker;
With the will of whom you are bound.
Signed, be signed, for the service of the saints
Who turned your loss into gain
Kind, be kind…

What, if they don’t understand your love!

You please understand their hate.
Enmity and hate are the grace of God who
Wants your role to be great
Wind, please, wind
The caravan of love to pass through
Their narrow-narrow lane,
Kind, be kind…

thoughts on the medical aspect of Sanctum Sanctorum Sadh Sangat. It is in the Sadh

Sadh Sangat is a spiritual hospital where the medicine of divine word is administered.
Ailments of mind ( aadhi ) , body (viaadhi) and sudden incidents ( upaadhi ) begin to be
treated without our knowledge. Laboratory-tests of our blood, saliva and serums could
prove this. Very serious diseases could get cured. Modern-scientific system of medicine
could be assisted in its various procedures. Both the spiritual and medical systems could

Saints, when in the congregation, we can have the experience of a charged environment.
Spiritual vibrations emanate from every saint.
Any person being in the Sadh Sangat experiences the environment charged with the
collective invocation of the energy from the all-pervading Source i.e. God. A reverential
feeling of self-discipline enters the heart of everybody present here. This brings about a
high level of an unnoticed change in our life. We start getting rid of any kind of
negativism and start developing a strong power of positivism. This cannot happen
anywhere else.
Saints, let us celebrate the reality of being in the congregation. As, it is not possible to
express this happiness in an ordinary manner, our feelings are taking the form a song.
Saints, now we will sing the song, ‘Lord Hardev is here’. I request all saints to join.

Embodiment of urbanity,

greatest scholars prefer to subordinate their academic excellence to our Satguru’s word,
thereby creating a better understanding of Satguru’s grace. Their scholarly attainments
surely help them to obtain higher blessings from the people present here. The scholars
make their expositions in a better and more acceptable manner. This is how they obtain

Saints say with love, Dhan Nirankar,

Saints, Baba Farid Ji warned the people of the world through one of his shalokas.
Bera bandh na sakiyon bandhan ki bela,
bhav sagar jab uchhle , tab taran duhela ,
Kaho Fareed sahelio , shahu alaisi ,
hans chalsi dummana , eh tan dheri thisi .

When it was time to make the ship, you could not do it.
When there is a storm in the sea, it is difficult to swim across.

Farid says, “My friends, the master had given the call, now your soul will leave in
double- mindedness and this body will become a heap of clay.
Baba Farid ji was referring to Noah when he had warned the people of his time to make
ships to save themselves from the imminent great deluge.
Practically, no body listened to Noah and entire world except a very few saints were
destroyed in the deluge.

Saints, even today, our Satguru is working.

Around the clock,

Around the globe,
Around the year,

to warn the people all over the world to return to their Creator by knowing him.
Today, the great deluge is made of hatred. Our Satguru is inviting everybody to come to
the ship of Brahmgian and human unity.

Our Satguru does not take rest because the world is sitting on the verge of self-
destruction through violence and wars. We know that only and only our Satguru can save
all of his children, scattered over the earth through his grace, love, compassion and
mercy. The Nirankari saints are expected to become his partners in saving the world from
man-made catastrophe. Our young saints appeal to saints in the form of this song.

Look towards Him, look to Him

Identify Him as per his grace,

He is Himself beyond the face
The only one for the human race. Look…

In God’s kingdom, His word is a law,

He loves me so much, I live in His awe
How wonderful is Sacha Patshah. Look…

Whenever you are in difficulty

Useless is every mental faculty
Efforts have cornered you in a penalty. Look…

Hatred is now a great diluge

Noah’s arc is wide and huge
Let everybody come in His refuge. Look…
Cautious be cautious, all challengers
He is the captain, you are passengers
Also preachers and messengers. Look…

Paradise on earth is planned

After a few days, the ship is to land
Move towards the extended hand. Look…

Saints, Dhan Nirankar”

also ensures an experienced, honest and genuine transfer of our Satguru’s own grace to
the holy audience. All participating singers and speakers share their experiences with a
combination of truth, faith, hope and love. All share true word ( sachi bani) and avoid
raw word(kachi bani . Sadh Sangat is the true court of our Satguru. Here, the ambience of
our Satguru’s presence is reflected through the presiding saint and each and every person
sitting here as a combined spiritual force.

Saints, it is correct that any person being in the Sadh Sangat experiences the environment
charged with the collective invocation of the energy from the all-pervading Source i.e.
God. A reverential feeling of self-discipline enters the heart of everybody present here;
Saints, it was also elaborated that in the Sadh Sangat, even the most learned scholars like
to subordinate their academic excellence to our Satguru’s word, thereby creating a better
understanding of Satguru’s grace. Their scholarly attainments surely help them to obtain
higher blessings from the people present there. The scholars make their expositions in a
better and more acceptable manner. This is how they obtain special favors of the Sadh
Sangat and their scholarship becomes socially useful. The scholars bow to academically
illiterate but spiritually developed saints from the core of their hearts;
Saints, it was very correctly described that soft, sweet, sober and sanguine words are used
in sermons, speeches, songs and stage-secretary-ship. Evry statement made in the Sadh
Sangat is responsible, authentic and relevant. Nobody’s feelings are injured. A fine
synthesis of Satyam (Truth), Shivam (beneficial to all), and Sundram (delightful) is
ensured. Body language, especially the face reflects genuine happiness;
Saints, you must have noticed that every speaker, singer and listener ensures his genuine
humility and reverence in a very prayerful and begging submission in the sadh sangat.
Even a mild overemphasis is avoided. Helplessness before the Satguru is kept in mind.
The cosmic, sovereign, benevolent and forgiving status of the Satguru is deeply and
mentally realized.

Saints, it was well said that sadh Sangat is sometimes deemed necessary even before the
dissemination of Brahm Gian because it (Sadh Sangat) de-educates the superfluous
recordings of the listeners and re-educates the minds of audience with eternal values
which are useful both immediately and ultimately. After the dissemination of Brahm
Gian , the Sadh Sangat regulates, strengthens and perpetuates its utilization;
Saints, it is correct that every word spoken in the Sadh Sangat is based upon eternal
values which are in commensurate with the standards ordained by the Satguru. Even
announcements, administrative points and general information are presented very politely
and with a spiritual touch;
