Pastors Remarks
Dear Church Family,
Not only does God want us to have a ministry in the church, which is
serving believers, but also a mission in the world, which is ministering and
sharing with unbelievers. You have heard me say that the church exists
primarily for those who are not here yet. God has a plan and that plan is
you and me, developing relationships and sharing the good news about
Jesus.
Jesus said, Follow me and I will make you fishers of men (Matthew
4:19). Consider these four steps to reach family and friends: F.I.S.H.
F- Find whom God wants you to reach. Pr ay and ask God for a name
or two who are in your sphere of influence.
I- Invest in the lives of others. Spend some time getting to know other s
and befriend them. People dont care how much you know until they know
how much you care.
S-Share your story. When God opens the door of oppor tunity, be
willing to share how you came to know Jesus and how they can too.
H- Help them grow and reproduce. Salvation is only the beginning.
God wants us to make disciples, who in turn, make disciples.

Sharing Your Story and Making Disciples. Please take some time to
read and study it diligently. In the September-November quarter we will
have a special emphasis on outreach-evangelism. I will share more details
with you shortly.

DISCOVER THE LOVE OF CHRIST

Dear Church Family,

We are back from camp and ready to start the school year off with a bang! First of all, thank you for
your support in sending these students to Super Sumer Camp 2016. In total, we had 3 of our students
rededicate their lives for Christ and one who decided to proclaim Jesus as her Lord and Savior!
Praise God! If you prayed, financially donated, or helped us in any way, you can count yourself as a
direct influence on these students decisions for Christ.
As the summer comes to an end, we are planning many things to keep up this remarkable
momentum. We have scheduled a beach day coming up Tuesday, August 2nd from 9:00AM-4:30PM.
If you have a student who would like to participate, the cost is $10.00 and let me know at the office
to get them signed up!
We are also excited about the opportunity to once again go to Rock the Universe @ Universal
Studios Orlando! Rock the Univer se is a night wher e the best Chr istian ar tists take Univer sal
by storm with worship concerts till late in the evening. To see Universal filled with Christian peers
all worshiping Jesus together has a profound spiritual effect for our students, so Im excited to see
what this night holds for our group. We will be going Saturday, September 10th and tickets are
$55.00, so let me know if you either have a student who would like to go or if you would consider
sponsoring a child for this awesome event.
The students go back to school August 15th; that means it is time to get ready for MOBILIZE 2016.
Mobilize is the annual back-to-school evangelism rally we host for the students each year. Last year,
we had over 150 teenagers and multiple students make first-time decisions for Christ. This year, we
are praying for 300 students!!!! This years event will be held on Saturday, September 17th @ 5:00
PM.
Please be in prayer about how you can help. Last year was a tremendous success, and it was only
possible through the selfless prayer and service of you as our church body. If you helped last year,
we ask that you prayerfully consider joining us again. If you havent helped with MOBILIZE in the
past, but feel the Lord leading you in that direction, we have a place for you as well! We need adults
who can help us with registration, food preparation & service, altar supply, set-up and take-down,
and general observation of church grounds.
