PVEP Corporation
Dear Sir/Madam,
I’m interested in applying for the geologist position in PVEP Corporation. It’s believed that my
experience and academic background support my candidacy for the announced position.
As you can see from my resume, I’m during a Master of Geological Sciences at Yonsei
University and will graduate about July of this year, 2010. I’ve improved my skills while I
worked for Olympus Pacific Minerals INC, VINACOMIN Group, and Uzbekistan Project in
Yonsei University. And recently, I’ve been writing the master thesis on the topic of “Clay
mineralogy of Oligocene-Miocene sediments in the Cuu Long Basin: Approach for precise
evaluation of thermal maturity of oil-source rocks”, so I also have experienced on the sequence
stratigraphy and geothermal evolution of a typical oil field in Vietnam.
I would very much like an opportunity to discuss your specific requirements any my overall
abilities regarding the announced position. You can contact me at theanh@yonsei.ac.kr. Thank
you for considering my application.
Sincerely!
VU THE ANH
