To develop, organized, train, equip, support and sustain army forces for the conduct of prompt
and sustained ground operation to accomplish the AFP mission.
SALUTE-
is the most important and most common form of military courtesy. Salute is a practice in all
organization in the world as a sign of honor and respect. The saluting distance is the distance of
recognition and does not usually exceed thirty (30) paces. Normally, the salute is rendered
when the person to be salute is about six (6) paces.
MILITARY LEADERSHIP- is an art of influencing men in such a manner as to accomplish the mission by providing
purpose, direction and motivation.
LEADERSHIP TRAITS- personal qualities that are direct value to the leader in gaining the willing obedience, conference
respect and loyal cooperation of his men in accomplishing a mission.
LEADERSHIP PRINCIPLES - is the fundamental guidelines for the selection of appropriate action and orders in the
proper exercise of the command.
COMMAND-
is an authority which an individual in the military service lawfully exercises over subordinates by
virtue of ranks and assignments or position.
LEADERSHIP-
refers to that process whereby an individual directs guide, influences or control the thoughts,
feeling or behavior of other human being.
a dictatorial type of leadership where a single person makes the entire decisions.
PARTICIPATIVE-
a democratic leadership style that is participatory and it is the most effective form of leadership.
DELEGATIVE-
a leader cant do every single thing alone. A leader must learn to organize his priorities and
delegates tasks and decisions to others while taking the final responsibility.
