The acid blending plant will use in oil fields to store and mix high concentrate Hydrochloride Acid HCL to strength 35 % or more. and should consist of the
following:-

Brand new acid blending plant.


Acid Storage Tank
Each tank should be: 1. 35 % Acid Coated (derakane coating equivalent with carbon steel basement horizontal cylindrical 40 m3 capacity).
2. Equipped with two 600 mm Manholes one on each end of the tank.
3. With work way on one site of the tank allows working safety and folding handrail on
one site of the work way to prevent fall down personal from the tank,
Work way should be entered by a ladder mounted on the manifold site of the tank.
4. Equipped with double base to set it to the ground. Each of these bases should have a metal construction to the front of the tank to prevent the manifold and other
parts from damage.
5. Craned by two certified crane eyes on the top of the tank.
6. With Suction manifold Installed on one site of the tank. The Suction pipe to the tank should be 6. Direct on the tank and should be with a 6 Butter Fly Valve.
These should be the main valve. A 6 Tee manifold should be mounted on these flange and set to the ground frame. The Tee manifold should completed whit 3
pieces 4 Suction connection. Each of that consist of a 4 Butter Fly Valve, a 4 Fig 206 female Hammer union and a male plug Fig 206. The suction Manifold
should allow a min rate 3 m3/ min.
7. With a 4 inch fill /recirculation line should be mounted on the tank. The line should be installed in lower 1/3 of the tank.
8. Installed on the top a vent connection. On these connect can be installed a 2 m long pipe to prevent personal operating on the top of the tank from acid vapor. The
pipe with quick connection should supply with the tank.
9. Installed on the opposite site of the tank should be over fill line. It should be a 3 pipe. This line will rout the Fluid in case of overfilling direct to the ground to
prevent personal for sprayed acid.
10. Mounted on the front a 1.5 transparent hose. The hose should be completed with a scale to show the level inside the tank by m3 and in Barrel. An acid
resistance ball should be inside the hose.
11. The bottom of tanks should be allowed proper discharge / drainage of the fluids and for easy cleaning.
12. Equipped with valves Acid resistant.

Batch Blender Tank.


Batch Blender Tank should be :1. Total capacity 21 m3 divided to three compartments each compartment 7m3.
2. Build from carbon steel coated with epoxy or rubber lined suitable to resistant high strength HCL 35 % or more.
3. Closed on the top. Installed a 600 mm Man hole to a visual View to each compartment of the Tank.
4. Installed an electric driven paddle mixer for each compartment.
5. Mounted on the front a 1.5 transparent hose. The hose should be completed with a scale to show the level inside tank by cubic meter and in Barrel. An acid
resistance ball should be inside the hose.
6. Installed on the top of the tank a work way that allows having a view in the man hole of each compartment. The work way should complete with a folding
handrail. A ladder on one site of the Batch blender tank allows entering the tanks.
7. Suction manifold should be 4. Suction Manifold allows recirculation from each compartment separately with a recirculation pump. Also can be recirculation
from one tank to other tanks. The manifold should be installed so that all fluid can be drained out easily. All outside connections should be 4 fig. 206.
8. The functions of the manifold spitted with 4 Acid stable Butterfly. The complete Manifold should be build to hold a max pressure of 150 Psi.
9. Equipped with heavy duty frame in standard 30 feet container skid size. This skid should build from carbon steel. Installed in the bottom should container logs for
30 feet container and forklift pockets. On the top of the frame are crane eyes mounted. All these points guarantee an easy loading and unloading of the Batch
blending tank.
10. Installed on the front of the skid should be a Stainless Steel Control Panel weather proof. This panel allows switching on each paddle separately. Also a main
Power Switch should include and motors switches.
11. Equipped with water spray nozzles to assist in tank cleaning after each job & tanks washing.
12. Equipped with drainage line with valve for easy cleaning.
13. Equipped with hopper & liquid additives tanks on top of the blender.
14. Installed on the tank 220 V light to allow a 24 hour work.

Water Storage Tank, each tank should be :-

1. Carbon steel resistant to (water, brine and crude oil) with carbon steel basement horizontal cylindrical 40 m capacity.

Filling and Discharge Pumping Unit


The Filling and Discharge Pumping Unit should be:1. Installed on a heavy duty oil filed skid a centrifugal pump driven from an electrical motor. The skid should be an Oil Filed Skid with crane eyes.
2. With centrifugal pump (metal pump) with PVC inlays. That grantees completely stability against HCL to strength 35 % or more and other chemical products. The
inlays should be can changed easily without changing the pump housing Max Pump Rate not less than 1 m3/min @ 3 bar , Suction Connection should be 4 inch
fig 206 with Butter Fly Valve , Discharge should be 4 inch fig 206 with Butter Fly Valve .

Recirculation Precision Mixer.


The Recirculation Precision Mixer should be consist the followings:1. Installed on a heavy duty oil filed skid are 2 centrifugal pumps driven from an electrical motors. The Oil Filed Skid should be with crane eyes.
2. The Mixing Pump should be 3x2x11centrifugal pump (Mission Pedestal Type) Max Pump rate 1.1 m3/min@ 3 bar max pressure 9 bar, driven from an electrical
motor.
3. The Recirculation Pump should be 4x3x13 centrifugal pump (Mission Pedestal Type) Max Pump rate 1.1 m3/min@ 3 bar max pressure 9 bar, driven from an
electrical motor.
4. Each pump completed with a suction and discharge hammer union Suction Connection 4 inch fig 206 with Butterfly Discharge 4 inch fig 206 with Butterfly.
Completely with all necessary hoses (suction and discharge hoses).

Skid Mounted Generator should be :

Skid Mounted Generator to supply the required power to operate the Acid Blending Plant (Filling and Discharge Pumping Unit, Recirculation
centrifugal pumps, electrical driven paddles mixers, lighting, skid mounted stimulation lab ...... etc).
2. Diesel engine CAT, PERKINIS, CUMMINS, DUETZ with mechanical governor mechanically welded chassis with anti vibration suspension, High Ambient
Water Cooling radiator with van, 12 volt alternator / starter, Main line circuit breaker, Main circuit switch, start/stop, (two) Battery 12 V 100 A, 350 litre fuel tank
or more, low and high temperature shutdown.
NOTE: - Electricity: single phase (220 volt, 50 Hz), 3 phase (380 volt, 50 Hz).

The skid mounted stimulation lab should be used to evaluate and design the stimulation fluids (HCL, HF, Toluene, Crude oil and others) to allow the engineer to
optimize stimulation treatments. A variety of tests can be conducted for stimulation applications according to recognized API Testing Procedure including
(Emulsion, Solubility, Water Analysis, Corrosion, HT & HP Rheology, Compatibility, Retarders Reaction, Foaming and Antifoam, Surface Tension Reducer,
Friction Reducer, Surfactant, Diverting Agents and all other additives using in stimulation jobs) and should contains the following devices:Acid Spending Unit.
HTHP Pressurized Viscometer with connection to PC and software.
Constant Speed Blender.
Water Analysis Kit.
Digital PH Meter.
Electronic Balance 0 6200 grams readability 0.01 gram.
Water Curing Bath 80 liter.
Marsh Funnel.
Mud Balance, none pressurized.
12 speed viscometer
X Ray device for rock elements composite with connection to laptop PC and software. (Recorder, Printer, Monitor, Hardware and software).

The skid mounted stimulation lab should be:

1. A 30 ft container mounted unit and should be equipped with heating and air condition system for an ambient temperature -5 to +55 C.
2. The container should be full isolated with two windows on each side and one door in the front and one door at the one side and should be equipped with internal
and external work lights.
3. With stools, chains, table, containers water tank, water pump, sink (hot and cold water) with drainage to outside, exhaust fans and (laptop PC origin China).
4. Supplied with all necessary lab tools ,instruments ,vessels ,cylinders ,bakers and devices for acid treatment in oil well to obtain on optimum mixture to
stimulation the rocks ( limestone, sandstone, dolomite, ...etc ).
5. The supplier should present all necessary calibration devices for the mentioned equipments.
6. Recommended spare parts for one year operations and two hard copies manual to operate and maintenance for all stimulation lab equipments.
7. The top of all tables and cabinets should be build from high strength steel.
8. The origin of the lab equipments should be USA, CANADA, SWEDEN, FRANCE, UK or GERMANY .
Recommended Tools and tools box to operate and maintain the lab devises.
Recommended spare parts for two years operations for (centrifugal pumps , engines ,valves , hammer union , electrical materials .etc)
Recommended Tools and tools box to operate and maintain the Acid Plant.

GENERAL REMARKS:All equipments should be new brand and should design to work in environmental temperature -50 C +550 C.
All piping and manifolds should be metal construction and coated with epoxy or rubber lined suitable to high strength HCL 35 % or more.
The acid blending plant should be equipped with all required cables to connect the electrical devices with control panel and generator.
The supplier should present drawing to show the dimensions and locations of each part and connections between tanks and pumps.etc.
Technical offer should show the origin of the equipments and spare parts, location and the name of the manufacture for each item.
The technical offer should be include the type, model, specifications and part number for each item and also the technical offer include pictures for the required
materials.
7. The origin of the equipments should be USA, CANADA, SWEDEN, FRANCE, UK, GERMANY, TURKEY OR UAE.
8. The third party inspection should be doing on the required equipments and the certificate of the third party inspection company should CIRTIFY ALL
REQUIRED MATERIALS WILL BE NEW (NEVER USED) and according to the technical specifications in the technical offer and conformation letters.
9. All certificates of origin should be stamp by chamber of commerce and authorized from Iraqi consulate in that country.
10. CIP Maysan Oil Company.
11. Training for 4 persons at Manufacturer Company for 2 weeks (free of charge).
12. Installation and commissioning the acid plant and equipments should be doing at MOC (free of charge).

13. The supplier should present with his offer authorize letter from manufacturer.
All required electrical equipments and devises in this tender should be works with electricity single phase (220 volt, 50 Hz), 3 phase (380 volt, 50 Hz).
