January 17, 2016: Shipping Rate Change Details


USPS shipping product rates increased
Average shipping rates increased 9.5%.
Standard Post is now called Retail Ground.
Parcel Select Non-presort is now called Parcel Select Ground.
First-Class service package rates now up to a maximum weight of 15.99 oz. (prev. 12.99 oz.)
Priority Mail Express Flat Rate boxes have been discontinued.
Note: Priority Mail Flat Rate boxes are still available.
Regional Rate Box C was discontinued.
Critical Mail to be discontinued.

Priority Mail rates increased 9.8%


Flat Rate Boxes and Envelopes still offer a lower price than other carriers.

boxes against loss, damage or missing contents up to $200 free of charge. ($200 for merchandise and $100
for documents)

For packages less than 5lbs, consider using USPS over other carriers.
Take advantage of Flat Rate envelopes and boxes.
Can be significantly cheaper than using your own packaging
