Sub: Coop Estt Showing the Service Book to the official
and obtaining signature Reg.

As per SR.202, the Service Book is required to be shown to the official every
year and his/ her signature obtained in token of his/her perusal.
2. The employee may thus have an opportunity to ensure before affixing
his /her signature that his/ her services have duly been verified and certified as such.
Similarly in case of an Employee on foreign service his/ her signature is also
required to be obtained in the Service Book after the Directorate of Accounts and
Treasuries, Puducherry has made necessary entries, connected with foreign service.
3. In a bid to ensure that action in this regard is taken and that the aforesaid
requirement is utterly complied with, the officers/ officials of this Department are
hereby informed that they may have a look on the Service Books which is kept in the
Establishment section as per the time schedule given below.

4.While perusing the Service Book(s), if any entries are found to be omitted
and if the entries already made, requires correction in the respective Service
Book(s), the same may be intimated to the undersigned then and there with
supporting documents / evidence to rectify the same, within the affordable time.
