Dear Sir or Madam,

I would like to thank you for the opportunity to work with you. It means a great deal me.
The interest that you have in training the next generation of teachers is very
commendable. That being said, I look forward to our meeting and working to continue
my education in the teaching profession.

I am currently a full time building substitute in the Peru Middle School and have found it
to be extremely rewarding. I have been in this position for a year and a half. I cannot
even begin to describe the immense joy and pleasure that I experience every day that I
am present. This is my second summer vacation and I dread it. Saying goodbye to all
the students and teachers for the entire summer is painful. But, I cherish every day that
I am in the classroom.

My love for teaching stems from my children. They are a constant source of
enjoyment. Spending time with them has allowed me to experience the rewards that
teaching can afford. I have chosen this profession because the rewards come from
helping others. The most important lesson that parenthood has taught me is the
knowledge that helping others is more important than helping yourself. Teaching has
allowed me to help others in the best way that I can.

I am certain that my experience this fall will help me to further my ability to help others.
I also know that working with you will be an integral part of that process. For that
reason, I am very grateful for your time and support. I look forward to our meeting and
wish you all the best.

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Greg Badger
