Dear Third Grader,

Welcome to Ms. Marshs class. You are very
lucky to be in this class! I was in this class last
year. I liked being in it because you get to do
really fun projects. The thing I liked the most
about this class was that we got to play
Homeworkopoly every week and get prizes.
Another one of my favorite things was
building our own cars for the Safe Racer unit. I
learned a lot, too. My favorite subject was
reading. I liked it the best because we read
novels like James and the Giant Peach and The
Wizard of Oz. I also liked the projects we
worked on. My favorite project of the year
was our biography book report. You really
have a lot to look forward to! I think you'll
have a great year. Remember to do your
