Organization and Behavior

Introduction
The organization including the especially business organizations have to arrange different rules
and regulations for operation well in the following organization. Well-structured and natured
organizations are getting the special facility for upgrading their organization. Those
organizations manage well motivation strategies and leadership techniques for operating the
organization. The appropriate motivation theory is function able for the exact employee or the
worker of the organization. For gaining the best achievement of particular companys, the
organization has to maintain the well individual and group behavior in the employee engagement
option and the following organization also has to manage exact team strategies.
Task 1
1.1Comparision and contrast different organizational structures and culture
There are different organizational structures and culture are available in the organization of
Capco. We have found that the Capco followed the flat structure of the hierarchical structure in
their organization. The flat structure is the best for the employee engagement in the organization.
The employee and the manager are directly connected via the flat structure than the tall structure
of the organization. Tall structure is for the organization which is military based. The leadership
hierarchy is sequentially going to the lowest step of the nature of the following organization
which are followed the tall structure (Burton & others, 2011). On the other hand, the Capco is
arranged the matrix structure in the project based work of them.
When we have analyzed the culture of the Capco, they are growing their efficiency with the mass
employee involvement in their organization. The cooperative nature of the finance investing
company of Capco, flourishes them very well in the country and the other countries also. the
employees are very much dedicated to their work of financial services of the customer. They love
to take the challenge for the large achievement of the organization of the following. It is very
important to say that the Capco is the modern financial service company so they are following

the modern natural strategy than the traditional nature which followed by the other companies in
the world (Thompson & others, 2008).
1.2 Explanation of how the relationship between an organizations structure and culture
can impact on the performance of the business
It is very important to say that the Capcos organizational structure of flat structure and the
nature of the modern strategies are the parallel in nature. So the relation between the structure
and nature of the following organization is very strong in manner. The flat organization of Capco
maintained the proper employee relation with the following structure. And that is very important
to influence the performance of the employee and the co-worker of the Capco (Tsai & others,
2005). In when the demand of the financial services is increased, the proper relation acted as the
lubricant for maintaining this kind of extra demand.
With organizing the structure and the culture properly, the Capco tackles various critical issue of
the company such the new entrants in the market with the same business. Moreover the
organizations of Capcos employee are in jolly mood and so they are very creative in nature.
They will define various kinds of creative idea for growing the net profit of the following
organization. In the nature of positive for the employee and for the organization, the following
organization is growing their all activities well and for that the organizations overall
performance is going to well. So it is really understandable to say that the organization is well
benefited with the exact nature of the structure and the nature following.
1.3 Discussion of the factors which influence individual behavior at work
The employees individual behavior is influenced by different factors in the organization of the
Capco. The special factor is the extraversion which is gratified and energized well for
communicating with others well in the criteria of the external factors. Then the locus of control
of the individuals is very important in when dealing with the customer of arrogant in nature
(Orlikowski, 2002). The employees have the beliefs that they can control the events of the time
in when the affecting by any others in the duty time. The organization of the Capco follow the
attribution theory for individual behavior and it states that concerned with how the individuals
interpret the events and how they relates with their thinking and behavior. And the ability of the
perception of the employees is very helpful in the time of behaving well in the organization. We
see that the perception refers to the organization of the methods and the identification and the

interpretation of sensory information in order to represent and understand the environment. And
by the well perception of the employee in the time of the individual behavior affect the behavior
of the customer and also to the stakeholders. We have identified those factors which are
influencing the individual behavior in the organizational place of the Capco and those give a
special advantage to the following organization.

Task 2
2.1 Comparison of the effectiveness of different leadership styles in different organization
There are different leadership styles following in the organization of the Capco in their different
situation of their functioning. We have found basically six leadership styles such as the coercive
style, the authoritative style, the affiliated style, the democratic style, the pacesetting style and
the coaching style. From those leadership styles, the coercive leadership style is applicable in
those organizations where the employees are not willing to do the work or job. The organization
tries to get the employee with the nature of the encouraging, even expected to continually
innovative, but always within the boundary (Brown & Duguid, 1991) of the following
organization. The follower of the authoritative leadership style is the promising nature of the
committed to realizing the companys objective and also despite of the brusque manner in the
organization. In the affiliated leadership style, the employees of the following organization are
always dedicated to the organization. But in the democratic leadership style, the workers and the
employees are getting the equal right and legal facilities in the organization or in the outside of
the organization. The pace setting leadership style is ensuring the high standards for the
performance and innovation, and every employee of the particular organization is expected to
adhere and exceed those standards. In the leadership style of the coaching, the employees of the
following organization proudly feel a deep and abiding the sense of the responsibility towards
the company and behave accordingly (Geva, 2008) with the rules of the organization and they
have also the clear sense of what they need to do on a day-to-day basis.
2.2 Explanation of how organizational theory underpins the practice of management
The organizational theory of the organization such as the administrative approach, scientific
approach, bureaucratic approach, classical approach and so on. Basically the scientific
management has the force on the formal study of the management including the function of the

planning, organizing, leading and controlling and it also has the force on the practice of
management in the organization of the Capco. The scientific management is broadening the
scope of the management and the study of the organization. It has also great impact on the
development of the business policy of the Capco and the philosophy of management in the
following organization.
On the other hand the general management theory reawakened as the organizations grew more
complex and neeeded more broadly educated general managers. The educated manager can take
any critial decisions in a short time and the decision is efficient (Gunasekaran & others, 2001).
The drucker and others emphasized the need to improve the practice of management and the
general management also grew through a resurgence in industrial or organzational economics. It
is very improtant to say that the business policy evolved to strategic management. On the others
view, the spread of the management ideas moved beyond the factory leading to the emergency of
general management.
2.3 Evaluation of the different approaches to management used by different organizations
The Capco is usually used the scientific management approach for developing the science for
each element of an individuals work, which will replace the old rule of thumb method and the
scientifically select and then train, teach and develop the worker and they are heartily cooperate
with the workers so as to ensure that all work is done in accordance with the principles of the
science that has been developed. The scientific management is dividing the work and the
responsibility almost equally between management (Taylor, 2004) takes over all work for which
it is better than the workers.
The administrative approach believed the practice of the management was distinct from other
organizational functions. We see that the developed principles of the management that applied to
all organizational situations in Capco.
The bureaucratic approach defines the long chain of command in the particular organization. The
employees are disheartened with the approach of the bureaucratic.
When the organization is employee oriented, the organization is used the human relation
approach for establishing the best relation with the employees and the customers and also with
the different stakeholders in the organization (Fredrickson, 1986).

In which systems should be followed by the particular organization, is determined by the system
approach in the management authorities of particular organization.
There is a very distinctive and the specific approach which is the combination different
management techniques and that is required for the organization indifferent circumstances.

Task 3
3.1 Discussion of the impact that different leadership styles may have on motivation in
organizations in periods of change
The motivation for the employees is very critical and important issue for the particular company
including the Capco. There are different leadership styles followed by the Capco. The employees
of the following organization are not in same in nature of behavior and need in the operation of
the work. So the motivation theory of the organization also changes in the periods of change.
With the changes of the leadership styles the motivation theory for the organization is also
changing. When the coercive leadership styles are followed by the organization, the following
organization followed the X theories for the motivation. And when the organization is following
the democratic or participative leadership styles in the operation of their business, the business
will follow the Y theory for motivation of the employees. But in the time of different levels of
employees are in the organization, the organization follow the coaching leadership style in that
situation. In that situation, the following organization follows the Maslows hierarchy theory of
motivation. On the other hand, when the organization faces the unsecured location facility and
they have needed the hygiene factors (Riley, 2005) of the two factor theory of the motivation.
And then the organization should have managed the needed factor for proper survival of the
employee.
3.2 Comparison of the application of Maslows motivational theory between two work
situations
The Maslow did not intend his theory to be an explanation in the workplace of Capco. In the
situation of the cohesive workgroup or friendly supervision and in the professional associations,
the organizations workers or the employee are needed the social needs. The organizations then
take the options for fulfilling the requirement of the employees with love, belongingness and the
affection. Then the employees of the organization need the love from the senior management and

belongingness of the senior authorities of the organization (Daft, 2012). Basically the employees
who are needed this needs from the Maslows hierarchy, are very creative in nature and
contributing for the organization day by day with large amount of figure.
But in another situation of the employee which is occurred for the social recognition, job title,
high status job and the feedback from the job title in the organization of the Capco. The
employees of the senior level in the organization of Capco are needed for those needs of esteem.
Basically general rewards of the employees are the self-esteem, self-respect, prestige and the
status. They are the waiting to receive the recognition from the authorities with the crest and the
special honor from the following organization. Their creative contributions are leading them to
the employees to the honor position in the organization.
3.3 Evaluation of the usefulness of a motivation theory for Managers
The motivation theories are applied to the employees for encouraging the employees of Capco.
The content theories are vague and cant predict behavior, but have been very influential in job
redesign and fashions of the management and for the total quality management of the employees
performance. To supervise and control the employees performance with the basis of the standard
of the organization Capco, is very critical issue for the Business. On the other hand the managers
are the highest authority of the following organization. And for that the motivation for such kind
of executives is very necessary for the growth and the highest achievement of the organization
(Haraway, 2013). When the employees of the manager are working the organization at the
highest level, the organization performance is also growing at the same period. So satisfaction of
the manager is very urgent for the improvement of the organization. For that reason, the
organization has to emphasis on the proper motivation to the manager. We also see that the
managers motivation is also important for them to motivate the worker and the role of the
manager may be in providing a suitable environment for this. After motivating the workers by
the manager, the workers are self-conscious for their individual work and the following
organization improved well in the market place.

Task 4
4.1 Explanation of the nature of groups and group behavior within organizations
There are different types of group are acting for the improvement of the operation of the Capco.
The groups are including the formal group and the informal group basically (Lai & Turban,
2008). The formal group is combined with the command group and the task group. The
command groups behavior is same with the leadership. They are usually leading the
organization and take the major decision of the organization and take the planning for the
organizations future improvement and contribution to the society and to the country. On the
other hand the task groups members are performing for the organization and execute the
planning of the command group and they are also working at the hard level of their effort. The
task group always obeys the command group for any kind of task completion.
The informal group is combined with the interest group and the friendship group. Basically the
interest group of the company named Capco will combine the customers, employees, and the
workers and the different stakeholders of the organization. They are benefited from the
organization with the services, salaries from the company and the profit from the company
(Chesbrough & Rosenbloom, 2002). And the friendship group of the company will include the
all person of the different level of the company monitoring and execution. The friendship groups
are always expecting the well-being of the companys performance.
4.2 Discussion of the factors that may promote or inhibit the development of effective
teamwork in organizations
For any kind of improvement of the organization, the team work is very important issue for the
achievement. There is any achievement of the organization cannot be possible without he best
performance of the team work. Some factors are acted as the lubricant for the development of the
effective team work in Capco.
The team of the Capco focusing on the goals with the team driven on common goal have an
effective team that common goal needs to be spelled out in advance and understood by the team
members. And the team will achieve the perfect goal for the organization named Capco.
There is another factor of the effective teamwork in the organization is the compensation of the
employees and the employees are giving their best effort for taking the higher compensation and

bonus from the authority of the organization. So, all business are trying to give the highest
compensation to the employees, for getting the highest outcome from the team.
Communication is another factor of the effective teamwork in the organization. When the
manager will communicate with the team in a well manner, the team will try to give best effort
for the company.
The authorities of the company have to deal with the conflict within the team members in wellestablished way. That is enhanced the effective teamwork in the organization of the Capco.
4.3 Evaluation of the impact of technology on team functioning within a given organization
The Capcos employees are benefited with well-established technology of the following
organization (Capco, 2015). They can coordinate with the team of them which working for
gaining the specific achievement for the organization. With the option of the technology transfer,
the researchers and the service givers of the following organization can communicate in well
manner. It can enhance the efficiency of the service system of the company.
On the other hand the Capcos technology is moving from the research laboratory to a new
service user successfully in an environment that is supportive with the technology contribution.
The e-mail, Facebook, hot mail, twitter etc. are the main ingredients for transferring the
technology in faster process.
Using the computer, the executives of the following organization can store the data of the
customer and the stakeholder with Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Access (Shim & others, 2002).
The user and beneficiaries of the technology from the company Capco, are having the great
impact from the following technology.

Conclusion
The organizational behavior of the surroundings of the Capco is organized in well nature and
well defined way. Well structure and the nature of the company named Capco, can be benefited
the company with the best management capacity and the formulation of the company. The
individual person is motivated and lead by the expert person of the company and the highest
authority. The proper motivation is used in the proper time of the operation of the business. And

the individual person is behaved with the efficient manner of the motivation. Some important
factors are acted as the influential matter for the group of individuals.
