it is suggested that everyone should have a car , a TV and a fridge. Do disadvantages of this
development for society outweigh advantages?

BI VIT:

Car, TV and fridge are amenities of our home life. In the absence of these home appliances, our
life would become less convenient. Nevertheless, the fact that every one of us possesses a car, a
TV and a refrigerator might exert adverse influences on our society in terms of traffic congestion
and environmental pollution. Both sides of this issue will be analyzed from multiple perspectives.

Undeniably, the benefits which we reap from these electrical household productsare substantial.
Functions of a fridge, for example, help food stay fresh longer, making our daily meals more
delicious. Thanks to a car with family friendly features, members in each family can enjoy quality
time together such as travelling and going picnic. Televisions not only provide us with a lot of leisure
options but also entertain our life in many different ways. With respect to this, our spiritual life has
indeed been improved vastly due to such modern and convenient inventions.

However, by reason of benefits mentioned above, people often tend to overusethem without being
aware of their side effects. Therefore, if everybody all over the world has a car, a TV or a fridge, this
may put our living habitats at risk. Our globe would be heated up due to the daily release of a huge
amount of energy into the air. Apart from this, traffic might also be congested frequently because
there are too many vehicle owners driving their private cars rather than use public transport.

To my mind, whether this development does more harm than good mainly depends on the way that
we use products. If peoples environmental awareness is high, they themselves will know how to
use home appliances in the right manner.

Nowadays, more and more older people who need employment compete with the younger people
for the same jobs. What problems this causes? What are solutions?
-BI VIT CA HUNGHANU
Regarded as the fastest - growing SEGMENT OF TODAY WORKFORCE (LC LNG LAO
NG PHT TRIN NHANH HIN NAY ), more young candidates have been short-listed in the
eyes of recruiters. However, there is a growing concern that the youngs job titles might be
threatened when senior workers now tend to steal jobs from juniors. This essay will point out the two
problems of this and propose some solutions.
The first predictable consequence is the abundance of MATURE-AGED EMPLOYEES ( LAO NG
TRUNG NIN) . Even though, there is no disputing the fact that aging workforce is highly
experienced, they seem to be less productive due to their HEALTH DETERIORATION ( S GIM
ST V MT SC KHO ). This would negatively influence their job performance as a result. The
other outcome is the increasing rate of unemployment among junior workers, which is often reported
to be one of the major causes of teenage crimes. Because of joblessness, youngsters often lack
money, and they may misbehave. Consequently, not only does our society indirectly incite crime in
youths, but we also exploit young workers ineffectively who seem to be non-experienced but
dedicated to work.
To mitigate these problems, I think, companies would soon IMPLEMENT EARLY RETIREMENT
INCENTIVE PROGRAMS (CHNH SCH I NG V HU ) for devoted elderly laborers. Special
healthcare and other social welfare payments should be given to ensure that they live healthily in the
rest of their life. Besides, employers should also create more job opportunities for young employees.
Take, for example, FAST-TRACK SCHEME ( CHNG TRNH HUN LUYN O TO DNH
CHO NHNG NG VIN NNG LC ), a system for rapid training and job promotion of talented
young staff. By this way, they can develop their potential to the fullest and make significant
contributions to the company they are working for.
In conclusion, young and old workers play an equally important role in each companys growth. It is,
therefore, necessary for managers to LEAD MULTI-GENERATIONAL WORKFORCE ( DN DT
LC LNG LAO NG NHIU TUI KHC NHAU ) by training activities as well as staff
incentive schemes.

In many countries, traditional foods are being replaced by international fast food.
People believe there is a negative effect on both families and societies.
To what extent do you agree or disagree?
1. Intro: Foreign fast food has become a prevalent product among consumers in
numerous places around the world. Opinions diverge greatly on the negativity of this

type of food, and I believe its favorable impacts, which would be analyzed below, are
eclipsed by the harmful ones.
2. Body 1: On the one hand, fast food plays a significant role in aiding modern whitecollar and blue-collar workers to keep pace with the hustle and bustle, which
traditional food fails to do. In comparison with the huge amount of time and effort,
sometimes elaborateness, to prepare Vietnamese dishes, occupied individuals can
stop by any fast food stands such as Mc.Donald on the street and enjoy a delicious
meal within a few minutes. On the societal level, due to the rapid expansion of fast
food producers, Pizza Express for example, retailers come into operation at
an unprecedented rate, which creates thousands of job opportunities for the locals.
This eventually makes most use of the idle workforce, helping to diminish the
national unemployment rate.
3. Body 2: On the other hand, I am inclined to the thought that the adverse effects of
fast food are rather worrying. Initially, the consumption of such meals is
disadvantageous to human health in the long run. Unfortunately, the shortcomings of
eating pizza and hamburgers on a regular basis might be obesity or diebetes due to
the high dosage of sugar and fat these products contain. Besides, the rise in the
use of fast food might results in over-dependence which causes cooking skills
deterioration. Especially in the scenario of Asian countries, Vietnam for example,
society often values the role of women in their kitchen skills. Depending too much on
ready-made dishes might be a detriment to this special set of skills.
4. Conclusion: In conclusion, although it is impossible to set aside the positive aspects
of overseas ready meals, I still suppose that their pitfalls should be paid more
attention to.
