Installing Components
6.1 Installing a Rectifier

Prerequisites
l
Rectifiers are found intact after unpacking and check. In case of any discrepancy, contact
your local Huawei office.
The filler panels on the slot for installing the rectifiers have been removed from the
cabinet.
Do not put your hands into rectifier slots, avoiding electric shocks.
When a rectifier is running, a high temperature is generated around the air exhaust vent at
the rear. Do not touch the vent or cover the vent with cables or other objects.
Procedure
Step 1 Push the locking latch towards the left.
Step 2 Draw the handle downwards.
Step 3 Gently push a rectifier into its slot along the guide rail.
Step 4 Push the handle upwards.
Step 5 Push the locking latch towards the right to secure the handle.

6.2 (Optional) Installing a Lamp

Procedure
Step 1 Install a lamp on the fastener on the right of the cabinet.
Step 2 Remove the cover from load circuit breakers.
Step 3 Connect the negative power cable for the lamp to the load circuit breaker of the smallest
capacity.
Step 4 Connect the positive power cable to the RTN+ busbar.

6.3 (Optional) Installing a Smoke Sensor

Procedure
Step 1 Remove screws that secure the smoke sensor to the right of the cabinet top.
Step 2 Secure the smoke sensor base to the top of the cabinet by using the removed screws.
Ensure that the switch on the smoker sensor base faces the cabinet door.
Step 3 Secure the smoke sensor to the base, as shown in Figure 6-3.

Step 4 Connect one end of the signal cable to the smoke sensor and the other end to the SMOKE port
on the UIM panel, as shown in Figure 6-4.

6.4 (Optional) Installing a Water Sensor

Procedure
Step 1 Put the water sensor in the cable strip in the right part of the cabinet bottom, and secure the
sensor with a cable tie.
Step 2 Connect the water sensor signal cable to the WATER port on the UIM panel, as shown in
Figure 6-5.

When stacking cabinets, the water sensor must be installed in the battery cabinet.
When you install a water sensor, ensure that the sensor is 5 mm to 10 mm away from the cabinet
bottom.

6.5 (Optional) Installing a Temperature and Humidity

Sensor
Procedure
Step 1 Remove the fastener for the temperature and humidity sensor from the left of the cabinet.
Step 2 Open the cover of the temperature and humidity sensor, and install the sensor on the fastener.
Step 3 Connect one end of the signal cable for the temperature and humidity sensor to the sensor.
Step 4 Close the cover of the temperature and humidity sensor.
Step 5 Reinstall the fastener for the temperature and humidity sensor on the cabinet, as shown in
Figure 6-6 or Figure 6-7.

Step 6 Connect the other end of the signal cable for the temperature and humidity sensor to the
TEM-HUM port on the UIM panel, as shown in Figure 6-8.

Ensure that the upstream AC input circuit breaker is OFF, and attach labels such as "No
operations allowed."
Switch off all circuit breakers before installing cables.
7.1 (Optional) Installing Dry Contact Signal Cables

Procedure
Step 1 Press the contact plate using a flat-head screwdriver to flip the metal spring inside each dry
contact.
Step 2 Connect the signal cables to the corresponding dry contacts.
Step 3 Put away the flat-head screwdriver and check that the signal cables are securely connected.

7.5 Installing a TCUC Power Cable

Procedure
Step 1 Lay out a TCUC power cable, and route it into the power cabinet through the package entry
module.
One end is secured to the PWR port on the battery cabinet TCUC, and the other end is reserved on the
battery cabinet.
Step 2 Connect the negative terminal on the other end of the power cable to the 10 A load circuit
breaker.
Step 3 Connect the positive terminal on the other end of the power cable to the RTN+ busbar.

7.8 Installing AC Input Power Cables

The TP48200A-HX09A5 and TP48200A-DX09A2 support two types of AC input systems:
220/380 V AC three-phase, four-wire and 220 V AC single-phase.
The TP48200A-HX09A6 supports 110 V AC dual-live-wire input systems.
7.8.1 Installing a Three-Phase, Four-Wire AC Input Power Cable

Procedure
Step 1 Lay out the AC input power cable, and route it into the cabinet through the package entry
module at the bottom of the cabinet.
Step 2 Secure the AC input power cable to the corresponding AC input circuit breakers and terminal.
