In line with the mainstreaming of the reforms in basic education, the RapuRapu National High School issues the School Calendar for the School Year (SY)
2016-2017 in consonance with DepED Order No, 23 s. 2016. The opening of
classes was on Monday June 13, 2016 and the last day shall be on Friday April 7,
2017 with a total of 202 schools days required.

The School Calendar aims to synchronize all core events and the use of the
required 202 school days for the SY 2016-2017 which includes the 180 days to be
used for nonnegotiable teacher-pupil/students contact time and the five (5) days Inservice Training (INSET) break and Parent-Teacher Conference. The different school
events and activities with the number of school days per month are detailed in
Enclosure no. 1

Specific guidelines are provided in Enclosure no. 2 to enable the school to
implement the school events and activities effectively and efficiently.

The school may observe national and local celebrations, activities and
holidays other than those indicated in Enclosure no. 3, provided that the total
number of school days is maintained and make-up classes shall to be conducted to
compensate for the school days spent for the school days spent for said activities.
5.
Immediate dissemination of and strict compliance with the memorandum is
directed.
