Help file for Profession Tax Registration.

PT registration is of two types. 1. Registration. 2. Enrolment.


1. Registration: Every Assessee (Employer liable to deduct and pay tax on
behalf of employees) liable to pay tax under Section 5 shall obtain a certificate of
Registration from the Assessing authority in the manner prescribed. They should
apply in Form-I.
2. Enrolment: Every assessee (Other than a person earning salary or wages in
respect of whom the tax if payable by his eimployer), liable to pay tax under this
Act, shall obtain a certificate of Enrolment from the Assessing authority in the
manner prescribed. They should apply in Form II.
An assessee must apply for Enrolment first and then only he can apply for
Registration.
The help for online Enrolment is as follows.
1. Visit www.tgct.gov.in -> New Dealer -> E-Registration -> PT Registration. Click
on PT Registration link.
2. Click on New user sign up here. Register your mail id. You will receive
password in your mail.
3. Go to PT login page. Login with mail Id and password.
4. Click on new Registration.
5. If you are already registered with any other Act like VAT/CST/LT/ET with
Commercial Taxes Department, Telangana then please enter the respective TINs
and your dealer data will be populated by the system itself. You can edit the data
if required and submit application.
6. If you are a fresh dealer, then please enter your Organization details in the
first screen.
7. System will generate RNR.
8. Enter Owner / Managing Director/ Managing Partner details in the second
screen.
8. Enter the name and other details of authorized person if any.
9. Enter Bank account details in screen four.
10. Enter Partner / Director details if any.
11. Enter details of Additional Places of Business if any.
12. Up load scanned copies of supporting documents.
13. Verify application once before submission and submit the application.

14. Registration status can be verified through www.tgct.gov.in -> New Dealer ->
Track Registration Status with RNR.
15. You can down load Registration Certificate in your login.

The help for online Registration is as follows


1. Those who are already Enrolled by the Assessing authority can apply for
Registration online.
2. www.tgct.gov.in -> Existing dealer -> PTax login. Login with PTIN issued for
Enrollment.
3. In the dealer login Click on Form I Registration -> New Registration. Dealer
basic details will be populated by the system.
4. System will generate RNR.
5. Enter authorized person details if any.
6. Finish the task to get Registered.
7. Registration status can be verified through www.tgct.gov.in -> New Dealer ->
Track Registration Status with RNR.
7. The Registration Certificate can be downloaded in dealer login.
