The FGM helps to reduce stress, prevent peeling of the coated

layer, prevent microcrack propagation, etc. For a component
having a material region made of an FGM, its fabrication
technology must be able to add different materials with certain
volume fractions simultaneously for every pixel according to the
specified composition function.
