Describe Hobbies and other interests

Introduction
Does technology always live up to its promises?

Cars were supposed to make it easy to get away from it all.

Television was supposed to bring families closer for quality time together.
New household appliances were supposed to increase free time and cut
back on time spent doing chores.

But the reality is that none of these promises made by the inventors
have really happened.

In your opinion, what technological advances do save us time?
