Capitulo 2

Resumen Espaol.

Cuando Scrooge se levanto estaba todava extremadamente frio y no haba sonido de las personas en las calles.

El fantasma de Marley lo haba molestado. El no sabia si fue un sueo o no. Entonces el record que un espritu lo visitara
a la 1 en punto. Asi que Scrooge decidi quedarse despierto a ver que pasaba.

De repente cuando el reloj marco la 1 . Una luz ilumino el cuarto y una pequea mano removi las cortinas de su cama.
Luego Scrooge se encontr cara a cara con el visitante.
Era una extraa figura como un nio pero al mismo tiempo no como un nio mas bien como una adulto tena un cabello
largo y blanco que le colgaba hasta su espalda como una persona vieja y aun as su cara no tena ninguna arruga.

Scrooge: Quien y que eres?

Soy un Espritu de las Navidades Pasadas. Levntate y ven conmigo.

El fantasma llevo a Scrooge al pasado, a un lugar cuando Scrooge era un nio. All Scrooge pudo verse el mismo ms
joven jugando con otros nios. Ellos estaban felices corriendo alrededor del rbol de navidad y aunque eran pobres ellos se
divertan.
El espritu llevo a Scrooge a un almacn donde Scrooge era un aprendiz. Scrooge vio la feliz vspera de Navidad que paso
en la oficina con su jefe Mr Fezziwig y con su familia.
Haba comida y msica y baile y todos eran felices.

Luego el espritu lo llevo a otro lugar. Scrooge era mas viejo ahora. El no estaba solo pero a su lado estaba una bella y
joven mujer. Belle. Habia lagrimas en sus ojos
Es triste ver Dijo Ella muy bajo. Que otro amor me a dejado
El amor al oro Tu corazn estaba lleno de amor alguna vez pero ahora? Creo es lo mejor para nosotros es separarnos.
Que seas feliz en la vida que has elegido.

Espiritu dijo Scrooge No me muestres mas. Llvame a casa. Porque me torturas?

Una sombra mas dijo el espritu.

Estaban en otro escena y lugar, un cuarto, no muy grande pero bonito, lleno de confort. Habia una familia feliz celebrando
Navidad.
Scrooge reconoci a Belle su antigua novia. Ella estaba casada ahora y tena hijos.

Belle dijo su esposo con una sonrisa. Vi a un viejo amigo tuyo esta tarde Mr Scrooge. Pasaba por su oficina y vi su
ventana tenia una vela y pude verlo ah. Su compaero se est muriendo escuche y estaba ah solo sentado. Muy solo en
el mundo me imagino.

Espiritu dijo Scrooge con una voz rota. Llvame de regreso no aguanto escucha esto mas

El peleo con el fantastma para que lo lleve a casa y Finalmente Scrooge se encontra en su cama de nuevo. El estaba
exhausto y entro en un sueo profundo.

Resumen Ingles

When Scrooge awoke, it was still very foggy and extremely cold, and there was no noise of people in the streets.

Marleys ghost bothered him. He didnt know whether it was a dream or not. Then he remembered that a spirit should visit
him at one oclock. So Scrooge decided to lie awake and wait what happens.

Suddenly, the clock struck one. Light flashed up in the room and a small hand drew back the curtains of his bed. Then
Scrooge found himself face to face with the visitor. It was a strange figure like a child: yet not so like a child as like an old
man. Its hair, which hung about its neck and down its back, was white as if with age; and yet the face had not a wrinkle in it.

Who, and what are you? Scrooge asked the ghost.

I am the Ghost of Christmas Past. Rise and come with me.

The ghost took Scrooge back in time, to a place where Scrooge was a boy. There Scrooge could see his younger self
playing with other children. They were cheerfully running around the Christmas tree; and although they were poor, they had
lots of fun.

The spirit also took Scrooge to a warehouse, where Scrooge was an apprentice. Scrooge saw the merry Christmas Eve they
spent in the office with their boss Mr Fezziwig and his family. There was food and music and dancing and everybody was
happy.

Then the spirit took Scrooge to yet another place. Scrooge was older now. He was not alone, but sat by the side of a
beautiful young girl, Belle. There were tears in her eyes.

It is sad to see, she said, softly. that another love has displaced me the love of gold. Your heart was full of love once, but
now ? I think it is better for us to part. May you be happy in the life you have chosen.

Spirit, said Scrooge, show me no more. Take me home. Why do you torture me?

One shadow more, said the ghost.

They were in another scene and place; a room, not very large or handsome, but full of comfort. There was a happy family
celebrating Christmas with all their warmth and heartiness. Scrooge recognised Belle, his former girlfriend. She was married
now and had children.

Belle, said her husband with a smile, I saw an old friend of yours this afternoon. Mr Scrooge it was. I passed his office
window; and as it was not shut up, and he had a candle inside, I could see him there. His partner is dying, I hear; and there
he sat alone. Quite alone in the world, I do believe.

Spirit, said Scrooge in a broken voice, Take me back! I cannot bear it any longer.

He struggled with the ghost to take him back. And finally Scrooge found himself in his own bed again. He was very
exhausted and sank into a heavy sleep.
