DO
Use correct Personal Protective Equipment that is in good condition
Secure supplies against blow away
Move around slowly and carefully and never lean over the edge
Work in teams
Stay clear of overhead electrical power lines
Regularly check your position and distance from the roof edge

DO NOT
Go onto a roof unless you have been authorised and trained
Work in the dark with only a lamp on your helmet
Leave tools and supplies unattended on the roof
Throw tools up and down to co-workers
Remain on the roof for longer than necessary

Always use your common sense before and during the performance of your task
