InpoliticsinMexico,inmyopinionisdividedintwokindof
politics,ofcoursethesystemusedisdemocracy,butIwillexplain
whyIthinkMexicoisacapitalismcommunismcountry.
Definitions:

COMMUNISM
Inaperfectworld,everyonewouldhavefoodandshelter,anda
trueperfectsocietywouldbelackingofsexism,racismandother
formsofoppression.Butformostoftheworld'spopulation,this
perfectsocietyjustisn'tpossible.Communismisoneproposed
solutiontotheseproblems.
Mostpeopleknowwhatcommunismisatitsmostbasiclevel.
Simplyput,communismistheideathateveryoneinagiven
societyreceivesequalsharesofthebenefitsderivedfromlabor.
Communismisdesignedtoallowthepoortoriseupandattain
financialandsocialstatusequaltothatofthemiddleclass
landowners.Inorderforeveryonetoachieveequality,wealthis

redistributedsothatthemembersoftheupperclassarebrought
downtothesamefinancialandsociallevelasthemiddleclass.
Communismalsorequiresthatallmeansofproductionbe
controlledbythestate.Inotherwords,noonecanownhisorher
ownbusinessorproducehisorherowngoodsbecausethestate
ownseverything.

CAPITALISM
Capitalismisasocialsystembasedontheprincipleofindividual
rights.Politically,itisthesystemoflaissezfaire(freedom).
Legallyitisasystemofobjectivelaws(ruleoflawasopposedto
ruleofman).Economically,whensuchfreedomisappliedtothe
sphereofproductionitsresultisthefreemarket.
Inotherwords,Capitalismisasocialsystembasedonthe
recognitionofindividualrights,includingpropertyrights,inwhich
allpropertyisprivatelyowned.

Undercapitalismthestateisseparatedfromeconomics(production
andtrade),justlikethestateisseparatedfromreligion.
Capitalismisthesystemoflaissezfaire.Itisthesystemofpolitical
freedom.
Themoraljustificationofcapitalismdoesnotlieinthebenefactor
claimthatitrepresentsthebestwaytoachievethecommon
good.Itistruethatcapitalismdoesbutthisismerelyasecondary
consequence.Themoraljustificationofcapitalismliesinthefact
thatitistheonlysystemconsonantwithmansrationalnature,that
itprotectsmanssurvival,andthatitsrulingprincipleis:justice.

PeoplesayinMexicothepoliticalviewismorelikeacapitalism
way,thatpeopleisfreetodowhatevertheywant,andthatthey
owneverythinginthecountry,butstillthegovernmentownsthe
petroleumwhichiscompletelyownedbyPemexagovernment
institution,andtheComisionFederaldeElectricidad(CFE)the
electricinstitutionthosetwoinstitutionsarecompletelyownedby
thegovernment,talkingabouttheelectricitycompany.
PoliticiansinMexicoareusuallybrandedascorrupt,thattheyonly

careabouttheirowngood,andthatonlypromisethingsthatare
notgoingtoachieve,sothepublichaslostinterestinlisteningto
whattheydoorheartheirproposals

Inpoliticalterms,thereisverymuchneedtoworryaboutthe
environment,becauseinthepublicationwecanreadalotof
reformoftheenergy,butallthatleadstotheconstructionandnew
plants,tologgingtrees,toexploitationnaturalresources,andstop
givingimportancetoglobalwarmingsopoliticallyshoulddoa
50/50intermsofenergyandenvironmentalpreservation.
Politiciansshouldinvestinplantsusingrenewableenergies,as
theyaredoingmanycountriesinEurope,by2020countriesin
Europearesupposedtoproduce2025%oftheirenergy,using
renewableenergyplants.
Withaprivatizedenergyindustry,andgovernmentinvestmentin
thetopic,Mexicocanincreaseitscompetenceregardingthiskind
oftechnologies,takingintoaccountthatitisahugeindustry
throughouttheworld.

Whenacountrygiveslibertytoitspeopleandcompaniesto
produceanddevelopnewtechnologiesandservices,theadapting
timelineneedstobeslowbecauseyouneverknowifacountryis
preparedtoreceivethesenewservices.

Theprivatizationofthisindustry,sincethecreationofnewenergy
canpreventaspectssuchaspollution,consideringthefactthat
Mexicosprincipalsourceofenergyispetroleum.Gettingintothis
topic(petroleum),thefailureitrepresentedwhenothercountries
investedinMexicobecauseeverybodythoughtpetroleumwasthe
newsourceofmoney,canworkasaheadstarttoleadMexicansto
considernewenergysources.
Petroleum,beinganonrenewableresource,startedbeingreally
cheapandcreatinganadvantageforMexico,andendedupbeing
reallyexpensivebecauseofbeingscarce.
Insidetheethics,Thecreationofnew,simplersourcesofenergy
canrepresentahugeopportunityforpeoplewhointhosedays
werenotbeneficiatedbythewayenergywasdistributedin
Mexico.Thinkaboutworkersinthefieldsfarawayfromcities
livingwiththeirfamilies;theideaofhaving,forexample,asolar

panelthatcouldgivethemenergytoruntheirhouseandworkisa
hugeadvantageforthewholecountry.
