1. APPLICATION OF THE CODE


1.1

POLICY STATEMENT

SINTHETIKs code summarizes core vales and principles that guide


out business conduct. The code establishes standards for behavior,
provides questions and answers for situations that may be
encountered on a daily basis, and list resources where help and
further information can be found.
Every effort will be made to include important topics in this code.
However, the code cannot address every possible workplace
situation or list all of our policies and procedures.
Based on accountability, members may be required to comply with
additional professional conduct requirements in addition to the
guidelines in this code.
Violations of this code of conduct may result in disciplinary action
up to and including termination of membership in addition to other
civil penalties that may result.
This code was created to help avoid any conflicts that may
arise and to streamline daily processes.
1.2 TO WHOME DOES THE CODE APPLY?
The code of conduct applies to all members of SINTHETIK on or off
duty

1.4 CONTRAVENTION OF THE CODE
SINTHETIK anticipates its members to report and conduct that they
believe is in violation of the code.
-Bring your concern(s) to the attention all members at once,
opposed to individually
-Make a post on the SINTHETIK business and updates Facebook
page

-It should be known that all violations of the code would contradict
and compromise our integrity as a band.

2 ACTING WITH HONESTY AND INTEGRETY


SINTHETIK is committed to operating its business with honesty and
integrity. Situations involving business conduct and are complex and
uncertain, no code of conduct can completely cover every
workplace situation. Sometimes an agreement must be made to
help clearly direct and interpret the situation(s).
2.1 ETHICAL CONDUCT
All member of SINTHETIK must comply with the code of conduct and
laws applicable to SINTHETIKs business. Each of us must be willing
to raise ethical and legal concerns, and not letting our conduct
compromise the integrity of the band, externally or internally.
SINTHETIK expects its members to conduct business in an ethical
and legal manner and to recognize that in all their transactions and
at all time, have a duty of undivided loyalty to SINTHETIK.
These obligations demand positive action by all employees
to protect the interests of SINTHETIK, and to avoid
situations where their self-interest apparently or actually
conflicts with the interests of the band.
2.2 COMPETING & DEALING FAIRLY WITH OTHERS
SINTHETIK expects all it members to treat others in a fair and
honest manner at all times.
2.3 REPORT INFORMATION ACCURATYLY
All information communicated by members for SINTHETIK must be
accurate in keeping business records, merchandise, sales, paying
invoices, fuel and accommodations.
2.4 LICENSING REQUIRMENTS
Members in positions for which professional, regulatory, driver or
government issued licensing are required must keep their licenses
current and in good standing. Member must inform everyone if their
license is revoked, suspended or otherwise restricted.
3 RESPECT IN THE WORKPLACE
SINTHETIK is committed to providing a safe, healthy inclusive and
productive work environment the values diversity.

3.1 HARRASSMENT AND DISCRIMINATION


All employees are expected to adhere to SINTHETIKs workplace
policy, which outlines SINTHETIKs commitment to a work
environment free from harassment and discrimination.
We cannot be creative in an environment that does not allow for
constructive criticism.
SINTHETIK will not tolerate, nor condone discrimination by or
against SINTHETIKs members on the basis of age, race, color,
religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity,
disability, marital status, family status or other grounds of
discrimination prohibited by law.
Nor jokes/remarks/gestures, belittling or threatening behavior,
which interferes with work performance or creates a hostile or
offensive work environment.
3.2 DRUGS AND ALCOHOL
SINTHETIK expects all members to conduct themselves discretely if
one chooses to ingest a substance.
While operating the company vehicle, it is absolutely forbidden to
be under the influence of alcohol.
3.3 WORKPLACE SAFETY AND SECURITY
Threats and violent or intimidating behavior will not be tolerated.
Members are required to comply with SINTHETIKS Respectful
Workplace Policy.
Always insure that the vehicle is secure before leaving it.
3.4 DRIVING RULES
All members that are required to drive must have a valid drivers
license and be insured under the vehicles insurance. Drivers must
be sober while operating the vehicle to insure the safety of the
equipment and members.
4 AVOIDING CONFLICT OF INTEREST
It should be said without question that all members require access
to basic human needs and rights without feeling persecuted.
Member must devote their time and attention to equality and
avoiding unnecessary conflicts between members.
4.1 IMPROPER PAYMENTS
All members are required to contribute their share in band pitch on
time monthly, helping us to avoid paying costs upfront and using
the line of credit (merch, van, gear, etc.) any missed payments will

be brought up to the attention of all members to determine a


resolve.
4.2 ACCOMADATIONS
Members must understand that accommodations may very from
night to night, but it should be kept in mind that everyone,
especially the drives require a full night of undisturbed sleep, in
order for us all to make it to the destination without being deprived
of rest, and able to preform to the best of out abilities.
*Alternate driver should always be resting in the back when
not driving*

4.3 MEALS
All members are required to do their best to stay healthy while on
duty, that incudes eating quality meals often to help give us the
energy we require traveling from city to city, night after night,
without conflict.
4.4 WASHROOM BREKS
All members have the right to use the washroom when required,
when in transport it should be within reasonable notice to the
vehicles operator.
5 PROTECTING OUR BRAND
5.1 COMPETITION
Members are required to avoid any conduct which violates or which
might appear to violate competition. All communication with
competitors, suppliers and fans are especially subject to risk.
5.2 OFF DUTY CONDUCT
Members are expected to conduct themselves while off duty and/or
on social media in a manner, which does not tarnish SINTHETIKs
reputation.
6 SAFEGAURDING ASSETS
Always ensure that the equipment and merchandise is looked after.
The van is must always be locked, valuables stored out of sight and
parked in a safe location.
6.1THIRD PARTY AGREEMENTS
Any cancelations of previous agreements must be done a minimum
of one
week in advance of a performance if possible, to avoid

any last minute confusion, resulting in a tarnishing of our


reputation.
6.2 PHYSICAL PROPERTY
All members are required to respect each others property and not
destroy one anothers equipment or personal items. If a member
destroys an item that does not belong to them, they are expected
to replace it.
6.3RESPONSIBLE FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
All members are required to be financially responsible, as well as
to contribute monetarily to ensure that we can achieve the goals
we strive complete, including recording, mixing, touring, van, jam
time, ect.
