COMBERMERE SCHOOL VACANCY DEPARTMENT HEAD
The Combermere School requires a Head of Department, Foreign
Languages.

Applicants should have a degree in Spanish and French from a recognised


university, successfully completed a course of relevant professional
training, and at least 5 years teaching experience.

Applications, accompanied by full curricula vitae, copies of two recent


testimonials, the names and addresses of two referees and certified copies
of certificates, degrees and/or diplomas, should be sent to the
Secretary/Treasurer, Board of Management, Combermere School,
Waterford, St Michael, or emailed to sectrea.combermere@gmail.com, by
Friday, June 3.

CARIFESTA JINGLE
If you are a songwriter, recording artist or composer you should enter the
CARIFESTA 13 Barbados Jingle Competition!

Entries must be in by Thursday, June 30, for consideration by the National


Cultural Foundation (NCF). There will be a cash prize of $10, 000.00 for the
winning jingle!

Forms are available at www.ncf.bb. Entries must be submitted in Mp3


format to ronald-davis@ncf.bb , and copied to andrea-wells@ncf.bb.

COMBERMERE SCHOOL TEMPORARY POSITIONS

The Combermere School has four temporary teaching vacancies.


A person is required to teach English Language, Literature to CSEC,
Literatures in English and Communication Studies to CAPE; while another
is needed for English Language, Literature, Theatre Arts to CSEC and
Communication Studies to CAPE. Also needed are a Spanish teacher with
the ability to teach to CAPE and French to CSEC; and a Physical
Education teacher with the ability to teach to CSEC Physical Education and
Sports.

Applicants should possess a degree from a recognised university in the


related discipline. A Certificate or Diploma in Education and/or more than
three years teaching in the relevant subject area would be an asset.

Applications, along with full Curricula Vitae, two recent testimonials, the
names of two referees and certified copies of certificates, degrees and or
diplomas must be addressed to the Secretary/Treasurer, Board of
Management, The Combermere School, Waterford, St. Michael, or sent by
email to sectrea.combermere@gmail.com.

The deadline for applications is Friday, June 3.

HIGHER EDUCATION GRANT


Barbadian citizens pursuing undergraduate studies at the University of the
West Indies (UWI) are invited to apply for the Higher Educational Financial
Grant for the 2016/2017 academic year.

Application forms may be downloaded from the website mes@gov.bb, or


UWIs website.

Completed applications should be submitted to the Tertiary Section,


Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, no later than
Friday, June 36.

CARIFESTA LOGO
Enter the CARIFESTA 13 Barbados Logo Competition for a chance to win
$10, 000.00! Graphic Designers and design studios should submit designs
by Thursday, June 30, for consideration by the NCF.

Forms are available at www.ncf.bb. Entries should be in vector format file


on a CD with a print out of the image on letter size paper 8 1/2 x 11 inches,
and submitted in a sealed envelope to: The Chief Executive Officer,
CARIFESTA Logo 2017, National Cultural Foundation, West Terrace, St.
