AIM:
Vikasa aims at providing suitable employment opportunities
to unemployed youth in both public and private organizations.

Organisation:
Vikasa is a registered Government Society working under
the guidance and steering (force) of the District Collector of East
Godavari District.

Functioning:
Vikasa provides outsourcing services to various Government
Departments. At present 3000 young men and women are working in
various organizations on outsourcing basis through VIKASA.
Vikasa explores work opportunities in various Organizations and
facilitates recruitment process at East Godavari District, so that the
opportunities are utilized by the unemployed youth.
Vikasa provided excellent work opportunities to more than
12,000 young men and women in 2013 in various organizations like Dr.

Reddys Lab, ITC (Indian Tobacco Corporation), Kelloggs, HCL, Laurus

Lab, ICICI, Tech Mahindra, BSCPL, Regan Powertech KIMS, Hindustan
National Glass Industries HDFC Bank, Wipro, Aurobindo Pharma Hetero
Drugs, GMR, Apollo, Vertex, Invensys Software Solutions, Smart Drive,
Karvy, etc.,.
In order to utilize the opportunities to the optimum, skill
enhancement in relation to industrial requirements is to be done.
Hence Vikasa is proposing to take up skill development
training in various sectors like IT, ITES, Pharma, Healthcare, Technical
and Marketing etc.

Database:

More than 1,35,400 young men and women got registered

their particulars with Vikasa aspiring for suitable employment
opportunities

Modus Operandi:
Field staff of Vikasa regularly interact with organizations
exploring work / job/employment opportunities.
Interaction of employers and job seekers will be arranged
so that both can identify their needs each other better.
Necessary facilitation/platform will be provided to
employers to organize selection process and to pick the
best candidates suitable to their work requirements.

Best Practices:
Vikasa provided and provides excellent work force to
prominent organizations like Dr. Reddys Lab, ITC (Indian Tobacco
Corporation), Kelloggs, HCL, Laurus Lab, ICICI, Tech Mahindra, BSCPL,
Regan Powertech KIMS, Hindustan National Glass Industries HDFC
Bank, Wipro, Aurobindo Pharma Hetero Drugs, GMR, Apollo, Vertex,
Invensys Software Solutions, Smart Drive, Karvy, etc.,. Who are
partnering with Vikasa in providing prosperous opportunities to
unemployed youth.
Feed back reports suggest that candidates selected through
Vikasa have proved to be most obedient and efficient workforce.

Conclusion:
As cited earlier Vikasa is a non-profit
organization and aims at one and only goal of
imparting employable skills to young men and
women and they should be placed according to
their needs and aptitudes.
Vikasa functions
transparently catering to the employment needs of
upcoming men and women.

As it is submitted earlier that Vikasa is non-profit oriented

oganisation, opportunities given to it will help the educated and
unemployed youth and also helps to build better work force.
