environment. The customer would share this environment with their partner
through the LCS project the environment is deployed into.

Conrad Volkmann: Yes, but the the programming model has been improved
with various form templates, that guide the developper to create a rich and
complete experience for example in list pages. List pages are now an integrated
functionality that can be combined in one form with details or transaction details
forms.

charges. Environments provided as part of the AX offer are on the Microsoft
subscription and covered by microsoft.

Winston Hait: hi Sagar. the suggestion is to deploy the dev environment from
MS which includes the software licenses as well as Azure.

Pepijn Richter: yes, it is very similar; Microsoft will update the customizations in
the production environment for you

AX2012 this year. We allow 2012 code to be upgraded. For AX2009 we only
support data migration and not code upgrade. AX2012 = code upgrade, no data
upgrade. AX2009 = Data Migration and no code upgrade

Darin Kramer: With the initial release of AX7 Payroll is not available. US payroll
will be available later this year all other countries are TBD. HR functionality is

available but there have not been any localized capabilities for the Middle East in
this release.

run by Microsoft on Microsoft's subscription with the RTW release. There is no
SLA or support for production environments run in customer subscriptions

Sren Vagn Andersen: No. The forms development experience is still a
modeling experience very similar to previous releases -- the modeling now just
happens in Visual Studio.

directly in forms for many scenarios. For reports that represent checks we
support on premise printer support

Winston Hait: Hi Barry. Customers do have control over when updates are
deployed. It is expected that they will test the hotfix first in a Sandbox and then
deploy once they confirm it is ok for their environment.

Pepijn Richter: we offer an integration framework - IDMF - to integrate with
CRM

strategy and not a data upgrade strategy. Currently we are focused on AX2009
and not AX4. If there is a strong business case with lots of customers for AX4 to
AX7 migration please provide feedback to engineering.

license a POS with a device for instance. We will have some Retail Scale Units
and ecommerce SKUs in the future.

this year are to build a Windows 10 universal app and cordova apps that will host
the AX client. Once we have those apps we can think about device specific

Pepijn Richter: Nope; you would need an Azure subscription to run it.

Arif Kureshy: Answered live.Cortana is a future feature. It is based on the Task
Recorder framework so it will work with anything that can be recorded.
Kevin Magarian: We will be looking at various scenarios to uptake Cortana in
core Financials.

Moises Leon: the UI is HTML5 based and works in different form factors.. you'll
see it in action shortly.
