This suite of social and emotional learning (SEL) lesson materials are
available for use with students across all years of schooling Prep-12.
They provide opportunities to develop social skills whilst also engaging
explicitly with the key areas of emotional literacy, decision-making,
problem-solving, positive self-regard, stress management, positive
coping, help-seeking and peer support. They are designed to support

Students
KECs can assist Koorie students and schools with guidance and
assistance on a range of programs and initiatives. You can contact your
regional KEC through your DET Regional Office for further information
and advice. The KEC is able to arrange for a Regional Koorie
Engagement Support Officer (KESO) to be assigned to any school where
contact with Koorie families may be required.

for eligible students with disabilities in regular and specialist schools.

Child FIRST
The Austin CASEA program has been designed to assist schools and
families to support primary school-aged children with their social,
emotional and behavioural development. It aims to enhance skills in
understanding and expressing feelings, as well as getting along with
others. The Austin CASEA program is delivered in the primary school
setting for 8 students and parents.

The Bouverie Centre work with families affected by alcohol and other
drugs, gambling, mental health and trauma to help them strengthen
relationships and resolve problems standing in the way of their wellbeing. Services include family therapy and Taekwondo classes for
