Rationale
In accordance with the annual Nutrition month celebration and with this years theme
First 1000 Days ni baby pahalagahan para sa malusog na kinabukasan., Bais City
Special Science Elementary School has developed activities which aim to educate pupils, as
well as the public the importance of proper nutrition especially to infants during their first 1000
days after birth. The First 1000 Days has been called the golden window of opportunity for a
comprehensive package of nutrition and related interventions to achieve significant changes in
reduction in child stunting, underweight and wasting, at the same time contribute to complete
child development.
We target to disseminate simple and practical nutrition message that encourage our
pupils to consume an adequate and well-balanced diet together with a healthy lifestyle.

Objectives

In line with the celebration of the Nutrition Month, Bais City Special Science Elementary School
aims to:
1. educate students, as well as the public the importance of proper nutrition;
2. disseminate simple and practical nutrition message that encourage our pupils to
consume an adequate and well-balanced diet together with a healthy lifestyle; and
3. inspire them to eat and live healthy through active participation of the various
nutrition month activities.
