PERFORMANCE TEST
It is a form of testing that requires students to perform a task rather than select
an answer from a readymade list. For example students asked to explain a business
event, solve accounting problems, or conduct research on assigned topic.
Teacher or trained staff then judge the quality of the students work based on an
agreed upon set of criteria.

This new form f assessment is widely used to directly assess writing ability
based on the text produced by students under text instructions. In this test student
uses their creativity to demonstrate their understanding of the concept.

USES
Through performance test, students show what they know and what they
can do. It is used to show technological proficiency, mathematical skill,
reading comprehension etc.

In online test it conducted with the help of computer. Students can site in
front of a computer at the examination centre and questions are presented on the
computer monitor and the students answer the questions through mouse. It is a
modern methods used by teachers in schools.
