This document serves as an overview for the Qlik Sense Education Services curriculum; training levels, formats, courses
and other programs based on user roles.
The Qlik Sense curriculum caters to specific users across learning paths and roles so they can learn exactly what they
need for self-service business discovery related to their job. User Roles include:
Business User
Visualization
Author
Someone who explores data, discovers insights, builds visualizations for their own use and shares
business expertise to define requirements for apps.
Builds gorgeous and genius visualizations, builds and maintains a library of complex expressions
and incorporates integrate extensions.
Data Architect
Builds scripts and data connectors to SAP, SalesForce and others. They maintain the Library, QVD
layer and data-related performance.
Web Developer
Embeds Qlik Sense into web portals, create mashups, extends visualization functionality and builds
custom visualization objects / extensions.
Server Architect
Responsible for installation, use, maintenance and security of Qlik Cloud (sites, nodes, scaling).
They deploy for mobile, monitor performance and use the QDC.
Qlik Administrator
Manages users, licenses, streams, rules and security. They are responsible for application
maintenance, publishing, and governance. They use the QMC and maintain the Library.
