OVERVIEW
AN1100-D401W is the access terminal device of Coaxial Cable bidirectional data
transmission access system. AN1100-D401W data slave provides 1 to 4 Ethernet ports. The
transmission method between AN5006 master and AN1100-D401W data slave is point to multi-point,
which ensures the access bandwidth per user be up to 2Mbps. Even under the condition that
multi-user use simultaneously, they can also enjoy the high transmission speed.
By working with AN5006 master, the AN1100-D401W can demodulate the modulated signal from
the AN5006 master to the lower speed parallel data stream. And then it combines several parallel
data stream into a higher speed serial data stream. Finally, it decrypts the data stream into
the standard Ethernet signal, which will be sent to users data slave (PC, IPTV STB, IP voice
gateway, etc.).
AN1100-D401W data slave supports demote management that can manage and set the
AN1100-D401W-C31 under the AN5006 by WEB logging into the AN5006. The management and set
function includes setting the 802.1QVLAN, QoS, reviewing the statistics and status information,
and updating software, etc.
AN1100-D401W data slave provides unlink/downlink symmetrical 100Mbps (200Mbps in total)
access bandwidth. It occupies the low frequency band under 30MHz, which can avoid the collision
with the existing CATV system frequency band and the mutual interference between them. Besides,
it can support existing tree or star type CATV network, of which transmission distance is
long, network adaptation is good, and bandwidth is high. AN1100-D401W data slave is powerful
weapon for the Administration of Broadcast& TV to deploy the data network.

FEATURES
Provides 1 to 4 standard Ethernet port.
Provides one pair of independent EOC channel (the one is for CATV output, the other is
for CATV +Data input).
AN1100-D401W data slave has high frequency utilization, which is the twice of the
utilization of the serial system. And it is important under the condition of CATV
transmission. The adjacent subcarries of OFDM signal are aliasing mutually, which is up
to the limit of frequency utilization in theory.
AN1100-D401W data slave has robust anti-interference and high stability. The OFDM system
which distributes the data to lots of subchannels, reduces the data rate of each subchannel,
and then relieves the impact of multi-path. By adding the cyclic prefix as the guard
interval, the system can absolutely eliminate the ISI.
AN1100-D401W data slave can choose the best modulation mode and frequency to transmit data
according to the condition of CATV line, which increases the system utilization. By
choosing the subchannel, bits per symbol and power distributed to each subchannel, the
total bits can be up to the maximum. In other words, bit distribution of each subchannel
comply to the Water theorem of information theory, which says that better channel
transmits more, worse channel transmits less, and the worst channel transmits nothing.
Easy to install. User only needs to put the wire which has CATV signal to connect to the
F head in AN1100-D401W data slave, and connects the RJ45 joint to the data terminal device.
Then the user completes the installation.
There are no needs to pull wire, and it does not destroy the original decoration at home
or office.
