Passive voice
Se forma la voz pasiva con el verbo auxiliar to be y el participio pasado del verbo.
Sujeto + verbo auxiliar (to be) + participio pasado
Ejemplos:
The speech is written for the president. (El discurso est escrito para el
presidente.)

The house was built in 1975. (La casa fue construida en 1975.)
My wallet has been stolen. (Ha sido robada mi cartera.)
The room will be cleaned while we are out. (Se limpiar la habitacin mientras
estemos fuera.)

Some and Any


Some is used in affirmative sentences and any in negative, but in negative
sentences is not necessary.

Conditionals
Zero conditional, always is true.
If + present simple + present simple

First conditional, is in future and maybe true.


If + present simple + future simple(will) or (may, should and can)
Bill will pass the exam if he studies
If Bill studies, he will pass the exam
If you miss the bus, will you take the train?

Second conditional, represent something unreal in the present, like as a dream or


wish or action in future no probably.
If + past simple + would + infinitive
If I won the lottery, I would travel around the world.
If Rachel had more time, she would learn to play the guitar.
Would you be happy if you were to get married?

Third conditional, when something in the past that not happening yet.
If + past perfect + would have + past participle. ed
Suzanne wouldnt have had the heart attack if she had gone on a diet as her doctor
recommended. / If Suzanne had gone on a diet as her doctor recommended she
wouldnt have had the heart attack.
Would you have liked to go to university if you had been able to afford it? / If you
had been able to afford it, would you have liked to go to university?
