I am passionate about case study competitions, as I am able to learn

more and challenge myself in real life problems, thus, a role within
the UCC squad would be the perfect opportunity to do so. I also
want to be involved in a culture of winning, with like-minded
students who share the interest of consulting. Finally, I am
passionate about further developing my consulting skills as a UCC
squad member because I want to be able to complete everything to
the best of my abilities.
I want to join UCCs ICC Squad for the following reasons:
1. Genuine interest in case study competitions In my first year,
I developed a genuine passion and interest in case study
competitions, because of how I am able to learn more
extensively through applying my current knowledge in real life
situations. I want to continue on being more involved early on
in my university life and to participate in future international
case competitions against other universities. A role within the
UCC squad would be a perfect opportunity for me to start this.
Also, I believe this is a starting point to be involved with UCC
in later years of my university life and to serve the
organisation highly as a director.
2. To be involved in a culture of winning with like-minded
students I am someone who always aims to win, and even if
that isnt the case, I believe I have still achieved something
respectable. I believe UCC upholds this strong culture of
winning, which promotes healthy competition, and is

something not a lot of societies offer. Furthermore, I would

relish the opportunity to work closely with students who share
the same passion and interest in consulting and case study
competitions.
3. Further develop consulting skills Consulting skills are
important to me because I want be able to make a real life
impact on society as a future management consultant. I want
to be able to complete everything to the best of my abilities,
so I would have to further develop my consulting skills. As a
UCC squad member, it would be an incredible opportunity to
further develop skills used in consulting, such as presentation,
communication and teamwork skills.
