What is PebblePAD?
It is web-based software which provides
students with a Personal Learning
Environment. The software includes a
range of tools useful in academic work,
such as:

Webfolio an online portfolio has

advantages over a paper based
portfolio it is much more portable, it
can hold video, audio and
graphical information and it is very
presentable to external audiences.
It can also be published to the web
and shared widely.
Blog useful for students to keep
a learning journal or reflections on
their learning
Action Plan Can be used to
support tutorials

The software is personal so students can

be confident that no one else can get
access to it. However, it is also easily
shared if students want feedback or
collaboration.
